Back after surgery

Hello everyone. I started IP early July and lost over 25 pounds in about 6 weeks. Then I found out I had a tumor on my pituitary (part of the brain) that had to be removed. I had surgery about a month ago and have had a difficult recovery. Thankfully, I am finally starting to feel like myself. The good news is that despite all I have been through in the last month my doctor finally gave me the go ahead today to get back on IP. I have actually lost weight over the past month despite my doctor forcing me to go off IP. I am relieved I did not gain any weight back. Anyway, I am so glad to finally be back so I can finish losing this weight. The experiences over this past month have me more motivated than ever to reach my goal. Looking forward to talking to everyone.

Angel - you have such a great perspective after your ordeal - I'm sure you can tackle IP easily. Great to have you back!

Glad they caught that tumor. My mom had that, and they didn't figure it out until she had lost all vision in one eye.

Hope you have a good endocrinologist who is helping!
