Hey everyone, Hope you don't mind me posting here. I'm not currently in a reboot, but will be soon... Just a thought to prevent daily weigh-ins. What I started to do is have some water as soon as I get up. Knowing I have that in my system will deter me from getting on the scale because I know a the water can effect the scale...not by much but enough to keep me off it! Just a thought!!!

5 perfectly OP days. I am finally in ketosis. I forgot how rough the beginning stages of P1 are. But I am finally over the hump and feeling good.

NE- I used to do that all the time with the glass of water trick. Now I wake up so dang early and rush out of the house that I don't even have a spare second to check . With my new schedule, I am working out in the morning so I get up at 5:15 to hit the gym by 6:00, get to work by 7:00, shower and get ready and be at my desk by 8:00. So needless to say, I sleep until the VERY LAST second and leave just enough time to change, feed the kitty and bolt.

So... Although I myself continue to struggle with the scale, it goes to show that although at 150 I am high on the bmi scale, I am muscular enough that you can't see it in "real life".

Wow...you are only in the 22 range...that is not high (you would have 15 pounds before you hit the high end of healthy)...give yourself a break...I am pretty sure you are not 18 anymore.....(well I know I am not)

Heck I was psyched when I hit 25...although back to 26.

BMI means nothing to me....heck I would go to WW years ago and older women would be at their healthy BMI and goal weight and look so overweight...rolls everywhere.....they were mostly body fat and no muscle tone....you have to consider that

I agree!

I would much rather be heavier with muscle then a skinny fat. I am at 26 on the BMI scale but it means NOTHING to me.

Tonight we are going to a wine auction for the girls and boys club. I live in a city of unending fundraisers!

I bought a new pink dress for tonight, but I might wear the blue one in my picture. It is a cool and dreary day and the pink dress is a bit summery...

You guys are right. Bmi and actual pounds should really not matter-it's how you look and feel.

After 5 perfect OP days, I was rewarded on the scale- 137.8. I can't tell you how relieved I feel just seeing the numbers "13" again. I am 2.8 away from my original goal and if the reboot keeps going well, I should be there in another 2 weeks. Plus I can feel (and I measured) that a lot of the bloat is gone as well.

I haven't tried on the pants that sprung me into action just yet, but my inches dropped this week as well. After a bunch of you were saying you were having scale issues on the reboot, I made sure to take measurements so I could follow progress that way should the scale get stuck.

Good luck to all this weekend. Weekends are the toughest, too much freedom and not enough structure . We are going to an Oktoberfest celebration this afternoon, so it will certainly be a challenge to stay OP, but I am riding the high of the scale right now, so I am pretty determined not to stray.

I went out for breakfast this morning with a couple of friends from my gym (after our workout) and just got scrambled egg whites. Very proud of myself for passing on the bagel, homefries and bacon. I had a RTD mango before and the egg whites plus RTD Chocolate after. And I was REALLY full, so now I know for sure I am in ketosis.
