Searching:
If you can't find what you're looking for in this forum using the website search function, try using the "double search" using Google.

1) Go to Google.com. Search 3fatchicks by using the term site:3fatchicks.com at the end of your Google search.

For example, if you want to look for "big mac in a bowl", type "big mac in a bowl site:3fatchicks.com" in Google search. No need to include the quotation marks when you type.

2) This will bring up the page that you are looking for, now hit Ctrl+F to search on that page. Type "big mac in a bowl" and all instances of that search term will be highlighted.

I have a WI tomorrow instead of the usual Saturday, so I can get the scoop on a vacation phase off. Excited. DH and I are headed to the beach in 2 weeks for a belated anniversary week. Wow, 32 years! Anyway, I'm interested to "practice" some other phases as I'm getting closer to goal.

Good morning!

Quick question: I am helping a friend out with an event she is throwing tonight. It will be catered but I am not sure if there will be IP friendly food. I brought an extra salad with me to work. Do you think it is OK to have an unrestricted packet with my salad for dinner if there is not a lean meat option?

Good morning to all,
Down another 1.6 pounds this morning. This time on IP is so much better or maybe my body knows where it needs to be? 10 pounds in 5 days...I never lost like this the first time I was on IP. It is the first week though, so I know to enjoy this as it will taper off soon.

I wish everyone a happy day on program. I am going to try the chocolate pudding as a drink for breakfast made with coffee. I LOVE coffee and miss my half and half and drinks. Oh well, I love losing weight more.

Hi, scorbett1103, Denver, Colorado. My husband and I relocated here in May 2011. I'm not familiar with the area you mentioned, but I am still learning the state. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday, I usually am on only in the morning before work.

Happy Thursday everyone.

Looks like another warm day in Austin with some thunder and rain starting any time. Can't wait because we need the rain, and I love a good thunderstorm even if one of my dogs always freaks out. It could be a long few days for her, because the rain and thunder are predicted for the next few days.

I stepped on the scale this morning (yes, I'm a daily weigher) and just one more pound to go to my lowest weight on IP since I took my summer break. My body is just trying to hold on to every oz. these days, but I'm winning. Have a good 100% IP day everyone.

I had my first weigh in last night (2 days early). After only five days OP I lost 5.4 pounds, 5 1/2 inches, and 3.2% BMI. Needless to say I went to sleep pretty happy! Unfortunately I woke up with some pretty yucky allergy/sore throat issues. Thankfully I work at home and am my own boss so I'll be napping this morning. Does anyone know if it's okay to take cold medicines while on phase one? I haven't looked at labels but they taste awfully sweet...

Hello all!

I'm starting IPalternative as soon as I receive my food order, which should be today! So Day 1 will be tomorrow! I am anxious and nervous!

I've done an IP approved supper last night, and my kid enjoyed it. So that's one less stress.

Any tips to get through my first week?

GM everyone! Happy Thursday! I was reading on one of the boards recently that if you only eat broccoli or cauliflower that it will slow your weight loss. Is this true?
