Kids, adolescents, children need carbs for brain fuel, especially when they are in school. Imagine going through that week of getting into ketosis and trying to concentrate in school.

What about serving them the same dinner as you are eating, and adding a healthy grain like quinoa or brown rice? Brown bag lunch with whole grain bread, fruit and yogurt? There are some good websites out there with healthy school lunch ideas, you can google them.

You could have your kids eat what you are eating for dinner, but add a healthy grain like brown rice or quinoa. Brown bag lunches with whole grain bread, fruit and yogurt. Try googling 'healthy school lunch ideas', there are a ton.
