Is sucralose ok on IP

After 3 trips to the stores to find bottled water before the hurricane hit I bought the last 4 6-packs of Nestle Pure Life Splash Lemon water. It was the ONLY thing left. Tastes ok - definitely a diuretic. It has 0 carbs, and "not a significant source of sugars", but it does contain sucralose.

Just wondering b/c the "not a significant source" would become very significant after several bottles!

I have been told Splenda (sucralose) and stevia are OK on the program. However, you have to watch how much. They round down to zero on the carbs - so, for example, a packet of spelnda may say 0 carbs, but really be close to 1/2 carb. It can add up if you use too much.

Thanks, Lizzy, I guess I will drink just one a day until they are gone. My family doesn't like them. I think they are great!

Sucralose and Stevia are IP approved, but as Lizzy said - they should be taken in moderation, as there are negligible calories and carbs (just enough to be labeled "0" by the FDA). My coach advised me to keep them limited to 6 servings or less on Phase 1. As far as I know, Sweetleaf Liquid brand Stevia is the only 'true 0-calorie' sweetener available. A packet of Splenda has ~4 calories from ~.9g carbs.
