Vinegars

What types of vinegars can you have? I was told by a coach NO Rice Vinegar and she said because it comes from Rice... (REALLY? Thanks!!!:dizzy:) Can someone else give me a better explanation because on the sheet is says as long as its 0/0/0 which Rice Vinegar is.

I'm not sure about rice vinegar, but from what I was told... you can only have white vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
