Tried pureeing the vegetabales ick!

OK, I must of done something really wrong because I tried pureeing the veggies and it was awful. Also it was a huge amount of food.

What did I do wrong?

If I could get the veggies down I would be really great with the IP plan!

What did you do, how did you cook them before pureeing, what did you use, what seasonings did you use, how much did you use.

Which specific recipe did you use:

I used salt, black pepper, red pepper, cauliflower and brocolli.

I can't believe you opened a thread for this!

I mean LizRR took her time and put her energy into sharing her recipes and here you are opening a thread to say ick!

Sorry, don't mean to be rude, just my opinion.

Did you steam them, roast them, pan fry? Puree them together or seperate? What ratios? What recipe? This is still very vague.

My suggestions for the future: ROAST your veggies in the oven at 350deg for ~30 minutes with some garlic cloves in the shell - then in the blender add the veggies with the shelled garlic and your spices. Puree your veggies into seperate batches (red bell pepper only w/some garlic, cauliflower only w/some garlic, broccoli only w/some garlic). There is a whole thread with different recipes - what are you 'craving' - mashed potatoes can be satisfied with pureed cauliflower, tomato sauce with red bell pepper.

Thank you LizRR.....and to Sandra I am relatively new to this and had no intention of being rude. It would be the last thing that I would do. Just what I tried on my on did take really bad.

LizRR I humbly apologize for not seeing/using one of your recipes. No rudeness was meant.
