Default Eegads...Day 10 on IP

I'm on day 10 and I'm never hungry but I'm so tired of sucking down this nasty crap! Starting to think this was a mistake to start this plan.

It sucks that there isn't a variety pack of dinners/desserts/drinks. Grrr..I'm bitter tonight. Sorry.

Does your center let you buy single packets, or mix and match boxes? Mine allows us to buy single packets or whole boxes, but it's cheaper to buy a box so I saved up a chunk of money and got a variety of stuff.

I drink shakes 3x a day lately, it isn't bad, but I love my regular meal, I look forward to it...it isn't so bad. I hope you find some things you like...

Megan -
I'm very fortunate to have a coach that sells full "mixed" boxes of 7 items, but not all the same item. So at the very first appointment, you get an assortment of 28 different items, and from then on, you have to buy in multiples of 7, but can mix and match all you want.
There are items I HATE and items I LOVE and items I'm "ok" with. I tried in the beginning to really try a variety of items. Now that I'm 4 1/2 months in, I have my faves, but still try to mix it up a bit, so that I don't get burned out on any one thing.
Hang in there!!!

Default Day 10 with you!

Hey, Megan33! I'm on my 10th day too! I think you should probably ask your center if you can mix and match. I can totally understand hating to have the same thing over and over again! Good luck!

It gets better..I dont really like what i drink, but i suck it up and drink it anyway..i just try and see it as fuel and not as something to really enjoy...your tastebuds will change too...if you were savoury type person ...you might turn sweet.. or vica versa...Point is: Stick it out..and if you dont find the packets that they sell, work for you..then consider alternative options from Nashua Nutrition

Megan, try some of the recipes on the forum. Rainbow smiles and LizzR have excellent and creative ideas for how to use the various packets. Those have saved me.

There is also a great cookbook from one of the threads.

What do you have we can work with. Name off your packets and we can brainstorm recipe ideas to jazz them up! Honestly though, my first 2 weeks I 'powered through', then started playing around with the packets and found this forum through google searching for recipes and I don't know if I would have made it 22 weeks without them!

As people have said, just power through it. I found a couple things I liked at first and stuck with them for a while. Then an acquaintance quit her program and gave me her leftover food so I had a bunch of packets back that I hated before. I tried them again (this was 12 weeks in) and found I liked them this time. It's amazing how your tastes will change once you've been on the program.

Keep going - as others say, your tastes will change. As we can see, this plan works. We're all travelling the same journey, and we're all here you

I like what you said, thanks. I am on day 5 and some of the food is a challenge. I will try and look at it in a more positive way.

I was having the exact same issue a few days ago, but it really does get better!! I'm away from home right now so I'm sticking to a lot of the drinks-I have my magic bullet and ice and I make smoothies. I find I like the drinks a lot especially if they are ice cold. Good luck!
