NEED some idea's please!

Hi everyone,

This was my 6th week on IP. The past 2 weeks I have only lost 2 pounds. I find that really low; but I know weight lose varies during cetain times.

The main thing I am fighting right now is I HAVE NO APPETITE!

I literally am forcing myself to eat and drink.

Have any of you encountered this problem? My coach said this is a first for her :(.

I have never eaten unless I was hungry and now it is a real fight.

Any suggestions or advice is most appreciated.

God Bless,

SNEAKY

Hi Sneaky. I am in a similar situation. I usually am hungry for dinner once I start cooking but otherwise have to force myself to eat and drink during the rest of the day. In some ways it's a blessing because I no longer have cravings and I'd rather NOT be hungry on a diet than feel deprived, but at the same time it is hard to fit everything in some days.

I'm on week 8 and the scale hasn't budged for the last week and a half. It is frustrating but I keep reminding myself that there will be times I won't lose-- our bodies fight it-- so we just have to stick it out! And overall we both have lost a good amount in a short period of time so it's normal to stall here and there.

I know there are a lot of helpful people on these boards so hopefully someone will reply with some ideas or comments on the not being hungry aspect. Sorry I am not more helpful, but you're not alone!

The easiest ways to get your veggies in is to either blend some into a smoothie, OR puree a bunch of veggies and add them to your soups. Veggies can be roasted or grilled for different flavors. See the Pureed Veggie thread started by LizRR for lots of combination suggestions. Good luck!
