Going off low carb and starting again....

I posted this in the chat thread, but I think I posted a little too late, LOL!! So, I have been wondering something: I was on low carb last year and lost about 50 pounds. I got off in December and basically ate whatever I wanted etc...and gained 30 pounds back. My question is this: Being that my first weigh-in for IP only gave me a .6 loss, I am beginning to suspect that it may be because it’s harder to go back to lowcarb and lose weight on a consistant basis. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm also in my mid 40's...age might be a factor. My next weigh in is this Friday. I'm going to continue on the program for a while anyway, I'm just curious... On a good note, my blood sugars have come down! That in itself is so AWESOME!!! I am still hopeful that this will work for me. I hope it does, the low calories have GOT to do something to my body, or at least I would think it would. Anyone??

are you on IP or doing it on your own? if you are doing it on IP and loss .6 your first week something isn't right. List what you have for a day if you are on IP

hi wuv! Yeah, I posted Friday night because I was VERY disappointed. I do go to the clinic. They didn't seem to think there was an issue...they told me to just keep going. There is a thread i'll bump up, it does have my menu for the week. Oh also, must let you know that it wasn't for a whole week, it was only for 5 days. I guess i'm just wondering because I fear that this is going to be a very slow road for me. I don't really feel differently at least. I'll bump the post. Thanks for responding. I really admire you and your determination.. :)
