accidental restricted overdose
Hi everyone-
Big Uh Oh :o. I had maple oatmeal this morning not realizing that it was a restricted, had a shake for lunch and then just ate my snack...a bar. I was browsing the forum when I came across a posting about oatmeal being restricted. Should I eat dinner as usual? Thanks! |
Yes, this is not a big deal if you don't do it everyday.

Yes. Eat dinner as usual. I once ate 7. YES SEVEN Double Chocolate bars in one day...They were good! It was my only cheat during P1 and my weight wasn't impacted at all. Don't worry about what you did. Just get back on track and you'll be all set! :)

I did the exact same thing once! Totally forgot the oatmeal was restricted.
It didn't affect me. I chalked it up to my newbie mistake... (I think I was on my 2nd or 3rd day.) |
Hello,
I remember that Wuv2bloved mentioned that when she first started the diet, she did not even know about restricted items, so she used to eat more than one in a day and she lost a big amount of weight. So I would tell you don't dwell on it, eat your supper as usual and tomorrow is another day. Good luck. |
I did the same thing my first two weeks with the chili and spaghetti. I knew I could only have them so many times per week, but somehow I missed the fact they were my restricted for the day. Rookie mistake, and know we know! :)

I've actually done this kind of thing on purpose a few times. I look at it this way: if eating another yummy restricted bar keeps me from eating a M&Ms on family M&M night, then guess what, I'm having it!!

These were all great stories and I am glad you shared them with me :-)

I've had two bars in one day.....thinking I only ate one until it was too late. Still had a good weigh in loss.
