Good Alternative to IP Caramel Nut Bar

  • I love the caramel IP nut bars and am wondering if anyone has found a good alternative. I am going to use EAS drinks 2x a day and then 1 restricted bar type item 1x a day.
  • Pure Protein Revolution Chocolate Peanut Caramel are even better!!

Have you searched the existing 'Alternative' threads? There's lots of discussion there about different alternative products being used, including protein bars.

I agree, these are soo yummy! I ended up out running errands that took way longer than I had expected and had nothing with me. I was really thrilled to find this!
  • Healthsmart has a good caramel nut bar.
  • Proti-diet and Proti-Thin carry a caramal nut bar that is apparently identical to IP.. in fact i heard it was the same thing, only in different packaging...

Go to nashuanutrition.com and you can find them there along with an assortment of other bars..

Others also like ordering "Simply Bars" or Pure Protein Bars.. However, the closest to the IP caramal nut is the proti-diet or healthsmart bar..check it out..people are in love with them.
  • Yes! I love these bars too and wanted to find something cheaper. I finally ordered some from Nashua Nutrition online and they are the exact bars but different box. I think they were $11/box of 7.
I'll have to try the Pure Protein ones someone says are better. I wonder where I can find them?
  • I think I found pure protein at Shopko. They are usually easier to find at normal stores, Walmart probably as well if you don't have shopkos in your area.

I get Pure Protein bars at Target, Walmart, Costco and Trader Joes.
  • if you want to save a few $ on Pure Protein..go to the Target.com website..go to the bottom of the page and click on the coupon link. there are several different coupons to use in Target for Pure Protein. I printed the one for $2 off. I bought a box of the smore bars for a little over $4. I don't know if they have a carmel one,but saving a few dollars is always a treat.
