Can you re-heat pancakes??

Hi,

Just a quick question. Can I make my pudding pancakes at night and bring them to work the next morning and heat them in the microwave and eat them. Will they still be "good"?

thanks

I would like to know about reheating any of the products... like the soy patty or chicken patty.... It would be much easier for me to make my lunch the night before and heat it up at work. Anyone know? Thanks!

hmmm, pudding pancakes...could you share the recipe with me?

I'm actually curious about this too -- for traveling as well as workdays

Immabe...do you read the daily thread? WingnutandMe a.k.a. Molly posted a recipe today:
Non restricted pudding Pancakes
1 IP Pudding Packet (I used lemon and it was perfect.)
2 beaten egg whites
Approx 4 oz of water
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Pinch of baking powder
Pinch of sea salt
1 Splenda, Truvia or other sweetener packet (optional)
Directions:
1. Pre-heat griddle or skillet.
2. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt.
3. Mix all other ingredients. The batter should not be runny but a nice consistency to pour onto the griddle/skillet
4. Cook until brown on one side and then flip.

I was wondering the same thing about the waffles (I prefer the crispier waffle over pancakes :O))

I am addicted to the crispy cereal pancakes.

I am looking for the molten lava cake recipe ... it was on a post a few days ago and I forgot to write it down; I can't find it :O(( Am going to a 4 day agility trial and want to be well prepared with foods ... the only thing available on site is fried/grilled ....

A google search on the forum yielded this link -- the link to the recipe is a bit down plus there are other yummy ides too

BUT...does anyone know how the pancakes/muffins/waffles hold overnight and if they can be reheated? I'm really interested!

Reheating

Yes, I do it all the time. I have one of those toasters that moves on a roller so I used that it is is great. I also make the soy patties and chicken patties and heat them up. They tend to be a bit dry so I add some of my EVOO to it just before i cook it... they stay a little more moist that way.

Walden Farms also sells their syrup in portable packets.

Enjoy!

Thank you for answering. I think thats what I'll start doing instead of just always eating a pudding or drinking a shake. At least it feels like you're getting real food that way.

I tried reheating potato muffins, but it was not the same. I just prefer to just make them and eat them hot. Reheating takes away the fluffiness.
