Question IP Packet Foods - Is it normal to feel nauseous after eating?

Hello,

My apologies if this has already been posted somwhere - please direct me to the thread if this is the case.

Today is my 3rd day of IP and I understand that an unwell state of being is normal for some during the first week or two. My issue: I feel fine until I eat an IP packet.

I'm ok a bite/sip or two in, but then I end up feeling very nausous -almost as though i'm going to vomit- and a headache follows. I have to force myself to finish, since it's important to not skip & such.

The only IP product I haven't felt horrible after ingesting is the Cappucino drink.

Questions:
1. Has/is anyone else experiencing this? If so, what do/did you do to neutralize it?
2. Since I feel fine after drinking the Cappucino drink, is it ok for me to have this for all my IP meals? (i.e.: Can I do the drink for breakfast, lunch, & snack?)

Thanks!

Added Note: I'm not pregnant.

I had that happen with some of the products. My stomach just didn't agree with it. I ended up switching them out for something that was better for my tummy. Have you tried any of the other drinks? I put the mango drink into popsicle molds and eat them as an ice cream, which is perfect for the summer I hope this helps lol

I think we all have a few packets we think are nasty, is it everything or just a few, or do you know yet. Are you taking you supplements with your food? I know I had to split my supplements up differently because they were causing a sharp pain in my stomach.

The mushroom soup, crispy cereal, and cappuchino drink was blah!

I don't care for any of those either. I love the chocolate shake, don't like the Vanilla shake but can stomach it. I really like the broccoli cheese soup and the tomato soup. The herb and cheese omelet and chocolate shake along with BBQ Ridges have made up my orders the last few weeks. I like the wild berry yogurt drink and the blueberry cran drink, the chilli and the spaghetti rock too. The last two are only twice a week. Oh and the peanut puffs rock too. But I have been getting the chocolate drink more often because it is not restricted and easy to make and drink. I still need to make the IP ice cream, need rock salt!

I have never tried to eat the crispy cereal as an actual cereal because I didn't like the grey color the powder in it turns.
But I love it made into a pancake. That is one of my favorite IP foods.

Since i'm new, I haven't had a chance to try everything out yet, buyt I'm sure I'll find a few things I consistently am ok with (besides the cappucino drink). Also, thanks for the popsicle idea!! I will try that for my evening snack and see how it goes.

Not that I know of....I grew up eating A LOT of soy products & was drinking soy milk before staring IP and have never had an issue with it.

Is there a difference btwn the chocolate shake and the chocolate drink? My coach suggested I get a 6-pack of a vanilla drink/shake of some sort (not sure what it is) to have as an extra this first week if I get hungry, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to just have it in place of one of my IP meals. It's ready-made and is packaged like a juice box....

I've learned that in addition to not enjoying the taste too much, I'm really not a fan of the texture of the soups. I've found a way to get it down though!!! (i prepare the soup into a thick paste/batter, cover some veggies with it & bake!)

Thanks to everyone with their responses, btw -it's great to know I have support through this community!!
