I usually put a half teaspoon of oo in the frying pan and then put whatever I'm cooking in there. (the whatever you call it dish)
But my second ingredient is always a bit of pressed fresh garlic. Of course, my house now smells like a garlic shop, but everything seems to taste better. I do garlic, mushrooms, and red peppers, diced small and seasoned with sea salt and black pepper and put those in the leek soup. Yum. I do garlic, broccoli, red peppers, same as above, and put that in the broc cheese soup. And yes, weigh before cooking. Speaking like a long-time IPer, but it's only been 7 days for me.... :) Best of luck to all! :wave: |

There is a difference between frying and sautéing. Sautéing is fine, just don't deep fry.
