Even with such an aggravating WI, you are still radiant and your smile is HUGE! You inspire me, loss or no loss, you've come a long way baby! Thanks for sharing your story, you are a beautiful soul. And I will keep my chin up this week, and 100% OP as always! THINK VEGGIES!
I had my first P2 Weigh in today and laid a goose egg on the scale. nothing! I did lose 2 inches but still. I'm not disappointed, bc I am at my goal, but I am just wondering if this happened to anyone else in P2.
What a blah day today - it's raining here in Dallas, hard. I didn't get out yesterday and most likely won't today. Sitting at home is a danger zone for me, bored eating was a regular routine - luckily I'll have some more unpacking & laundry to keep me busy and of course monkeying around with my boy!
paulimapi - Congrats on the size Small! What a great NSV! I think the shrinking wardrobe is the best motivator, hope you got your IP order in too!
DanafromAustin - I know the last few weeks have been frustrating for you - but WOW...90lb is freaking great. What A Woman!
foxxybrown - Someone has been 100% OP their first week and the scale shows it! That's a rockstar showing for week 1! Congrats!
KristenV410 - Here's todays thread on what folks are eating. Note that some folks are in Phase 1 (me), Phase 4 (Cass), Maintenance (mom2cs), etc., but it's a good idea and I've gotten several meal ideas: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/idea...-may-30th.html
Today is my day 1 - for the 100th time - reaching out for support. I love this site so far. Congrats to everyone who have hit some personal goals. Keep being awesome!!

Wuv,
I have been following your videos and in this one you look markedly different. You look a whole lot thinner than in the other recent videos. So inspite of the scale and the tape, you are definitely rearranging body content. Celebrate!
I lost 2.2lbs this week which brought me to just shy of 75lbs gone. Last week I the scale didn't move so I am happy with todays weighin.
On Monday night I tried Zumba with some friends and love it. I am a little sore today but that's alright. I think I may have found something that I want to go to weekly, which is a first. I have been out walking more and starting to go on bike rides with the kids. It feels good.
On June 16 my friend is having her at home wedding reception, and I tried on the dress and it fits way better then it did 25lbs ago when I wore in Jamaica in March. I can see a huge difference and it feels amazing. I can't wait to lose 5-10 lbs more before the wedding.
Not much else is new, I still come here everyday and read but tend to only post weekly. Have a great week everyone and congrats on the loses this week!
Today's been a good day for me. Not really hungry like yesterday, but I finally got some salad dressing. It's WF Ranch that I doctored the heck out of but it works for me. Tonight I am looking forward to my "mashed potatoes" I will post the results of taste and recipe tomorrow.
Sorry for the 0, but to go over a year before getting a 0 is pretty flipping amazing. That's like, That's like acing a whole class before you finally forget to hand in an assignment!

WHAT IS JICAMA? Jicama is a large, bulbous root vegetable. A bulb may weigh one or two pounds and has a rough 'n' tough brown skin which should be peeled before eating or cooking. Inside, the flesh is white, wet and crunchy, similar to a raw potato but wetter and crunchier. The flavor is slightly sweet, a little nutty. It's good both raw and cooked, although my own favorite is raw, since it keeps both its crispness and its color over time. Look for it in the produce section http://www.diabetesdaily.com/recipes...a_hash_browns/
OK so they make them into hashbrowns...salads... http://www.food.com/recipe/roasted-jicama-36543
Roasted...
it ends up really sweet when it's cooked apparently...
Stir fry it:Mix together 1 clove of garlic, 1/4 pound jicama (peeled and julienned) and 2 tablespoons chopped red bell peppers. Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in a skillet sprayed with cooking spray. Once skillet is hot, add the jicama mixture, sprinkle it with 1/8 teaspoon paprika, 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Sauté the entire mixture for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
And even Dr. Oz got in on this action! http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/jicama-chips
OK that's it for my Google-ness for now gonna pick one up tonight and give it a whirl.
i was so excited to see that some clinics have added another veggie in! i'm always looking to diversify... my coach didn't say anything to me about it yesterday, but i did a little research and i'm nervous. i was going to go buy some, so that i could try it for dinner, but everywhere i'm looking says it's high in carbs and is a "starchy" vegetable, much like a potato. i don't know. i'm just scared to try now. i'm "at" goal, but am going to lose 5 more before phasing off and wouldn't want this to stall me... ideas?
