new and bad start but back on track..adviceplease

My start day was Mon 5-21 and i did great and made it thru headaches and all but towards end of week i fell off..my grandma passed away she was very ill and i am grateful that I was able to be with her in the hospital for her last days and my oldest daughter graduated on sat so it has been a very busy and emotional week..I am back on track but nervous as my first wi is tomorrow night . I hope my coach isn't mad ..i will be surprised if i lost anything. Does anyone have any advice?

So sorry to hear about your grandma...

Don't sweat your weigh in this week. Things always come up in life that throw us off. The important thing is that you're back on track. Even if this week's weigh in doesn't go as you'd hoped, there's always next week!

Sorry for your loss.

This is a very focused diet with no room for any error. It is difficult for many people to stick to because of that. You really need to be ready and focused as it is expensive. Give it another week and assess your level of commitment and ability to stick to it for many months without a single cheat (or know that cheats will set you back money and time).

I was very psycho....I did not really leave the house for four months (except for work) (it was Sept-Dec...kind of boring months). I am very social and spend at least two weekends a month away at casinos...so this was difficult....but I wanted the weight gone more than anything else at the time.

I wish you the best of luck:carrot:

Life is tough at times. It is hard to deal woth the loss of someone we love. I hope your coach will be understanding. Hoping next week will be better and you can stay on track.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I think your keyword here was emotional. Do you think you ate off plan for comfort?

I think your best bet is to think about this past week, where and why you ate off plan and evaluate that.

We all have slip ups, but being aware of why/how it happened will prevent it from reoccurring! I'd recommend never leaving home without a spare bar or something that you could easily eat in a pinch.
