loosing inches but scale not moving

Has anyone had this happen? I'm following the program but I'm a little frustrated the scale isn't showing my hard work :dust:

Are you exercising at all? Losing inches = losing fat, and maybe you're gaining a bit of muscle? Muscle is way more dense than fat so you probably wouldn't see the change right away.

I am also losing inches faster than actual pounds. I only started a few weeks ago, but I got spoiled with losing large amounts my first two weeks. Then I only lost 2 lbs but like 5 inches total everywhere. My coach warned me this would happen around week 3-4 so I'm not too concerned at the moment.

Don't get discouraged, give it a little while and see what happens. As long as you are losing inches, it's still progress for all your hard work! And you get to wear new clothes soon!

Oh yes... happens to me ALL THE TIME! I'm not on IP, but just wanted to chime in that the inches and the scale don't always correlate. Good luck!

Inches are more important!

How many weeks have you been on the program?

Inches are WAY more important. I'm down to super slow loss... but my clothes keep getting too big. That's all that matters!

How you look and feel are just as important as the number on the scale. If you are losing inches you must be doing okay, and congratulations are in order!

Weight loss is not lineal, some weeks the scale won't move at all, sometimes it can go up. As long as you losing inches is fine, though.

Thank you all for the encouragement, I am exercising and I'm getting ready to start week 5. My home scale moved this morning :>
