Hello all. Day 2 here.

I've been doing a modified keto diet since Thanksgiving and have been stalling (down about 40 lbs). My wife started IP 12 weeks ago (when I joined this forum for recipes) and is down 41 already, so I've made the switch. This week I'll be sharing some of her surplus IP foods and I meet with a coach on Friday to get full on protocol.

I started at 299.5 on Thanksgiving Day 2011. This morning I'm at 256.4, down 1.2 overnight. (M, 5'10")

I look forward to hanging out here.

Good to hear about all the fun everyone’s having on vacation this summer. I know the 2 weeks I was gone this year sure was more fun not always being tired.

Funny NSV I guess. We had the last of 4 family reunions in 3weeks Saturday afternoon. When we got there I dropped off DW and my 80 yr. old MIL at the door. They went in as I parked the truck so I kind of slipped in the back without saying anything to anyone. This is a group that we only see once a year on the 4th of July weekend. I was kind of surprised that no one was talking to me because this group is usually pretty friendly. I just kind of got strange stares from across the room for about the first hour. DW finally came over and told me she overheard a couple of her cousins asking who I belonged to because they didn’t recognize me. She had to tell them it was me. DW and I will be married 30 yrs. Come August if she doesn’t run me off and we have only missed 2 reunions.

All you big losers ;-) have a great Monday

Hey usmcvet, good luck with surgery today - figured I'd move any future butt wiping convos to this thread (no offense guys). Glad you got yourself the roto rooter tool while you heal! I almost got my dad one after his surgery since my mom refused to be the backup wiper. I guess "in sickness and in health" has its limits...even after 40 years!

Thanks WUV for bumping us back to the 1st page. I'm just trying to stay dry here in Austin. I'm not complaining because we need the rain.

USMCVET hope your feeling better

I have been using all the Walden Farms dressings. Some are better than others but they are all better than decent tasting especially for 0 cal / 0 fat / 0 carb.

I have been eating a ton of sweet peppers, peppercini, and cucumbers. I was told I could eat unlimited vegetables but I am keeping it close to my 4 cups.

Started on 6/16 at 275 and 26% body fat. I weighed in at home today at 254 ( My scale is spot on with the office which is great). The process is going great and I am trying to decide on a target weight between 235 and 245. 245 was my initial goal but I guess I will have to see how I look with my shirt off! I know that I am not there yet.

Well I've used it a few times but the pain meds have me constipated and I've not eaten much today. Lots of sleep. Feeling good. Rocking the Droid now. Swelling and numbness is Sooo much better than 4 Monte and 110#'s ago!

I guess us guys are not chatty enough to stay on the 1st page. Although I think we are out numbered 10k to 1. I'm just glad we have some of the ladies who look after us.

So I need to set a new goal and stay focused. I missed WI last week because if the holiday and vacation. But my scale seems to have stopped moving. To paraphase Jackie Chan from the new Karate Kid, My focus need more focus. So here it is. I want 125#'s by August 9th. That is half way to goal for me. That will be WI # 21.

Sounds like a good plan.

I would love to be down to 235 by August 14th which is our 30th Anv.
