I only started running last year and did a 10k, I haven't run since the fall because of shin splits but hope to start again soon - my plan is to start when I hit 138lb (fingers crossed that will be in the next week or two). Such a great feeling to run.

I wish I enjoyed running. I'm just glad I'm liking walking right now, and maybe some day I will enjoy jogging. That's all I can shoot for for now.

How soon can I start working out again? I will be starting IP in a week (Packets will be arriving) and currently do a bootcamp program 4x a week. I was thinking of cutting it out for two weeks then starting with 2 days a week?

I ordered a set of DVDs that explain the Slow Burn Workout, and they just arrived yesterday. It's on my agenda for the weekend to watch them all (3 of them), and get started with the routine asap.

Kristen~ Read your Phase I paperwork and talk to your coach about exercising.
Here is a PDF I found online about why exercising is not recommended during the first couple weeks of IP.
