Just signed up! Thanks for starting the new challenge. Hopefully, I'll be close to goal by the end of it!

Woo! I love that I found this forum and this challenge thread in particular. I'm a diet-newb, but am now on day 5 of IP and really excited about it :] I understand the program's logic and fully onboard. So far so good - I'm trying every product once for now and taking notes on what I like, and *really don't like* lol
This said, I'm having some issues with the daily amount of (olive) oil allotted AND not using cream in my coffee!! Any suggestions would be really appreciated..

Also - just wondering if anyone as noticed that they are sleeping more soundly now that their system isn't over producing insulin? It's a fantastic feeling to wake up refreshed :]

I still sleep so well and I am into it 14 1/2 weeks. I was not a good sleeper before IP and am worried I will go back to not sleeping well when I am off. Sweet creamer coffee was my thing. I didn't have it everyday, but when I had it, I had about 100 - 200 more calories added to it with the 'stuff'. I took about 2 weeks off coffee altogether trying to break myself of it. I heard somewhere that caffeine slows the metabolism. But when I couldn't take it any longer, I ordered the Cappuccino mix. Instead of adding he water I just added brewed coffee. That worked! Now I experiment with the DaVinci Sugar-free syrups. Caramel and hazelnut are my faves. Coach said they were ok too. I still restrict myself to 2 - 6 oz coffees on days I am craving (mostly Monday's and Friday's for some reason).

Good luck on the program and I know you will start noticing many changes your body has when your in the program a little more.

I am in. I started back up round 2. I am at 201 as of April 26. This week I am hoping for a 198 on that scale, which puts me back to where I left off in round 1.

New to the diet

Hello! I am starting tomorrow and i am very excited i found this site. I found a lot of useful information and creative ways to still enjoys food without getting bored. I have a few concerns for the first week. How did you measure 2 cups of veggies? If you go over on the amount of veggies will it effect the diet negatively? Will i not lose as much weight? I heard you need to be very strict with the amounts. I bought a scale to measure it. Also does anyone know if Dandelions are allowed at all throughout the diet? Does anyone have any tips for the first week? I want to make sure I start out on the right track and follow the protocol closely. Thanks! :)
