You have to do what you feel most comfortable with. If you do decide to go, plan ahead. Look at the menu online ahead of time and see if there is anything you can eat. The most important thing is that you succeed at this, and if that means staying home, then stay home, but if you think you know you can handle this, then just have a plan put together before hand.

Oh I can't wait to get to my garden.......if the 5 feet of snow would ever melt!!! My greenhouse is waiting to get started. My husband plowed a path so I can get to it last weekend. Hopefully we can get the heat going in it by the end of the month. Alaska gardens are so fun to watch. You can actually see it growing thruout the day.

I started Phase I on Monday, March 26, 2012. I need to lose over 200 lbs. My first week on Ideal Protein I lost 19 lbs! It has been a little tough, I must admit, but I have faithfully followed the plan. Will weigh in again on Monday. With much support and love, I know I can do this!

Eat and get yourself full before you go. Take you own salad dressing and then order a salad. You will be full.

Good luck.

I say go only if you want to and will have fun. Life is too short! If you go call ahead and explain your diet and ask if the will make you a large salad with grilled chicken breast and serve you olive oil and vinegar. I'm sure they will. Bring some IP food with you invade you need something extra.

Last night the kids had a visit from their grandparents with Easter baskets. I busted out my favorite IP snack, the peanut soy puffs and ate them slowly. I didn't feel deprived. I was still looking longingly at the milk chocolate and peanutbutter cups but was good.

If it's too tempting stay home and relax.

You must have such good soil up there. So much untouched land, right? I've got a little indoor basil plant going now. I think I should try a for a few more herbs this summer. How long is your summer? Did you plant bulbs? That's what I miss. Tulips and things like that.

cindyd,
WOW. Great, 19 lbs. :dancer:

:welcome:
We're all here for you. We all want each other to succeed. Plus, we've all been on our first week and had it rough and were concerned and know exactly where you are at. It does get easier. Your body adjusting is a shock. It gives all kinds of different feelings.

I know it takes a lot of time to read the posts, but there is so much information and others experiences, you'll gain the knowledge to feel very comfortable and get the confidence to know you can succeed.

Check the Stickys at the top of the forum. Lots of FAQs, and be sure to check the recipes they will help you add variety. We all need variety.

Ask questions, don't be shy to say something. There's a ton of knowledge.

Have a great OP weekend.
Molly

Would it be possible for someone to e-mail me the latest Nutritional Fact Sheet so I can do some updates. When I saved it from here it doesn't capture the full sheet of information.
