My three things for the moment are... My curvy back and butt. Freedom of movement and lack of pain. Coffee on the porch with quiet mountains all around (oops, not IP related) My dog weighs only 20 pounds less than I do. She is really warm and snugly. DH did the program too and is way healthier. Uh oh. I could go on and on. |
It's day 17 on Phase 1 and I feel fabulous!
I love.... - that I can bend over without getting heartburn (heartburn GONE Yipee!) - in my mouth, I can feel my cheeks are getting smaller - for some reason I'm automatically starting to stand up straighter. It's amazing how lean I feel and I've only started! |

My three: 1. The pain in my hands and feet is largely gone. (from either arthritis or food allergies - IP food choices seems to get rid of body aches) 2. Being able to wear cute, fitted clothes. 3. Feeling confident in my body. |
- I love that I fit better in my clothes.
- I love that even though I fell off this weekend, I know I can get back on again. I have that confidence. - I love that I am losing my fat suit. A little at a time...but it's going AWAY. |

1. Walking through the supermarket, and not being tempted by the devious food industry's manipulation to get us to buy the crap that was once so yummy that is not even a real food product-- in essence, avoiding the entire middle of every supermarket.
2. Waking up with a plan -- not floundering from diet to diet, trying to figure out what I should eat today to maybe lose some weight. 3. Fitting into all my old clothing and feeling good in them. |

Three things: 1, Walking freely, not feeling like I am "lumbering" Being short, that lumbering feeling comes pretty fast with an extra 60 lbs. 2. My 8 year old son saying he's proud of me and that I'm "adding years to my life." 3. Being able to keep up with my family more...this is the main reason I began trying to lose this weight. I'm not there yet as the diet leaves me low energy, but I know it's right around the corner as I am approaching goal and maintenance. 4. (Sorry, I couldn't stop at 3) All the wonderful, amazing, beautiful souls I have met on this board. You will be a part of me forever. I wasn't expecting this when I started trying to lose this weight, and it's been life changing. |

Now is a great time to sit back and list what we are grateful for in our lives at large, and with IP in particular. Rainbow, Your pics and the fact you did a 5K are amazing. I haven't done a 5K in decades, think I'll make that a goal for 2013...thanks for posting this, it's inspirational! I'm grateful for my family, my supportive friends, my work and customers. Re IP, I'm grateful for all my friends at 3FC, that I found IP - a protocol I can follow for the rest of my life, and 3rd, that this protocol has diminished significantly the various pains in my body. I feel more limber, arthritis free! |
Sooo proud of you Rainbow!!!
