Darbs, my 'before' was after I had already lost about 20 lbs lol. I did'nt take a before picture at my heaviest. Now I wish I had. I'd like to go a little lower to leave room for a weight gain. Can you believe in that after pic according to the charts I was still considered overweight. Dont know about those charts.

did my once a year reboot...P1 to 2 to 3 back in September and thought I was in control. Not sure what happened the last 2 months...I wanted to do a full reboot but I have a big 2 nights out planned for next week and it will interrupt my plan. But I will have been 100% for 8.5 days before I go out Wednesday night so hopefully I can counter some of that bad behavior.

the weird part is figuring out what you are able to do Forever....still learning.

I hear ya....heading to Foxwoods casino for two nights...I don't have enough resolve at this point because I really am very happy with how I look so I know I will give in so...I am just planning it and then maybe I will have some ounce of control. Good luck.

Yup...according to the scales I am still quite overweight too, but I had to let the messed up BMI thing go. I have seen women who look so flabby and large be a healthy BMI...it does not take bone structure and muscle mass into account at all. Don't lose another pound...you look great.

Hey ladies...So I have commited to about a 3 month plan...I will phase off sometime in mid-May. I feel very commited. I have a few events planned in April so I actually made a calender of planned eating. Instead of quitting and feeling frustrated....I planned "cheats" that are atkins based so I will stay in ketosis and not set me back. Hopefully this resets my weight back to my lowest (around 12-15 pounds...haven't stepped on the scale in a week)...that is another thing...avoiding the scale so that I don't become obsessed and quit when it doesn't go down.

You all are very inspiring to me, that even if I do gain some in the next year, I can do the things it takes to fix it. It's like having big sisters here! Or perhaps I should just say 'older' sisters... :)

I also went about a year in maintenance befor letting a birthday weekend in December turn into a month of excess.

I never added grains or fruit back. They just don't seem to like me at all.

I also like phase 1. Most days I eat the same thing! So I will stick with it with dh and try to meet my original goal of 140. If not, I will try to accept that the number on the scale is different for everyone!

Wow...150 pounds that is so awesome.

I guess I thought that maintenance meant the work was over, but boy oh boy it really just starts.

I was so good about phase 4 and following cheat days with a phase 1 day for about 8 months and then I just started slacking.

I am ready to go now. I hope to be below my lowest sometime in May....I am planning this loss will be slower especially with 3-4 planned Atkins cheat days.

I love that quote. It always comes to mind when I am golfing! Lol!

Your pics are great! But I understand being critical of ones self. Somewhere I read the ideal weight at 5'8" was 138 pounds. I just don't see how I would get that low unless I chopped off a leg or completely stopped exercising.

I find it interesting, too, tat although I stay in the 145 range, my clothes sizes contine to drop.

I can see myself obsessing over the scale number for a while yet. Maybe I will post a before and after if I can figure it out...

Luckily I went into ketosis quick...I was in it when I woke up this morning. So almost three full days down at 100%....nice to have someone to stick to a reboot with...hoping to make it 6 weeks...what are you thinking?

I got to 157 and everywhere I went people were freaking out about how gaunt I looked and I am only 5'6".....Can't imagine much lower. I was somewhere between a size 6 and an 8 at that weight...and I loved that size....hoping to be back there soon...wearing all my 8's but they are a little snug....not tight....just not the comfy loose that I like.

All right ....3 perfect days behind me. Today I wake up with the stomach flu...well at least I don't have to worry about hunger at all or any cravings

That sucks.
Make sure to keep getting in your salt and water. They are important when you are sick.
Do u have chicken noodle soup? I saw it at my clinic, but I didn't try it.

Feeling better now....just ate some steamed brocolli....no soup unfortunately.
