oooh, i misread your title, lol - i thought you were saying your 2yr old needed to lose weight and i've been there, too (my youngest daughter was 54lbs at 2yrs old but she's perfect now at 5 even though she still weighs the same - she's just the height of an avg 7yr old, not just the weight).

this is definitely a good place to find support and information and motivation, particularly when things go sideways.

I'm a mom of a 20-month old so I am right on board with you! I suffered a pregnancy related injury to my back and had started to slowly add on the pounds over the past year+ (and I was never very small to begin with). I knew when I was heavier than when I delivered my son it was REALLY time to get serious. I just had my 2nd WI yesterday and have lost a total of 15lb so far!

Not that you already don't have enough on your plate, but so far I've found that just a little planning & prep goes a long way to guaranteeing my success. I prep my salads for the week, make my raspberry jelly snack 'assembly line' style for the week, line up my packets for weekday work, and have a husband who is behind me 100% (i.e., no 'grumbling' about my IP approved dinner on the table).

Hi and welcome. I'm a busy SAHM to two little boys, 3 and 5 years old. Prior planning really helps out.

I'm curious where in TX y'all live? I'm in Dallas, and not very thrilled with my clinic/coach.

konsheart, you can do it. I've found tons of encouragement here. No matter what our circumstances are someone else's is similar and you'll find out how they've coped with it.

I'm amazed at all the kindhearted people on this forum that take the time to post their problems and how they've solved it. It's so helpful for everyone.

Good for you!!!! Planning is very helpful. I buy meat on sale and cook it, then freeze the portions, so I don't have to cut or weigh it with each meal, I just defrost it. After a couple weeks, I got into my routine of p repping the vegees, etc., for lunch and dinner, so I had an idea of how much to stock up on.

My hat is off to all of you folks with families to care for. I have only myself to deal with, so I could give away all the forbidden foods. I get crabby walking through the grocery store and saying 'no, no, no...' but that's life! That you can commit yourself to this and do it is a real testament to your strength!

I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and for that matter a 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 year old! I've lost almost 70 pounds since November! I'm loving it and feeling great! you can do it! My suggestion is for supper-feed the family whatever you eat! My family is loving it-and eating very healthy! We had an amazing gumbo for supper-modified for IP
