Herxing?

could it be Herxing? Herxing is very common when the body is detoxing as the toxins overload the system causing muscle spasms/pain/weakness.

I have been dealing with major swelling issues, tightness, & tingling in both of my hands for a few months now. After going to Dr., I added more Vitamin D. Did another round of blood tests, so awaiting the results now.

The Herxing idea fits into my theory that my body is releasing toxins full of "stuff" that is making the swelling, tightness & tingling occur. Other than the hand issues, I feel awesome! :cheer3:

Would love input, while I wait the lab test results! Going to mention to Dr. in follow-up about the Herxing idea.

Just a thought...Soy is often looked to as a possible culprit in IP issues. Is it possible that some people are actually having a problem because the soy is genetically modified? I eat non GMO soy as a daily staple and have NO problem with it. GMO soy has genetic material injected from other organisms (usually to alter it to make it a more profitable crop). I'm not informed about the specific genes added to soy, but there has been concern with GMO foods that new allergies could be triggered by foods that were previously tolerated.

I had a problem (facial rash) with milk protein isolate products: casein or caseinate. It's hard to find IP things that do not contain this milk protein. Many people seem to have issues with it.

Check to dates of some of the posts replied to. They're pretty old. Haven't seen those folks around in a while.

When bumping an old thread. I'd suggest not quoting the older posts because then other think they're recent.
