Use Restricteds or Not???
A lot of information out there regarding restricteds. A little confused whether having restricteds negatively effects amount of weight loss? What are your thoughts/experiences?

I use restricteds every other day, and haven't noticed any effect to my weight loss, so far I have seen a loss of 19.7lbs in just 24 days, so am very happy with that

My coach told me to have 1 restricted a day. I will see when I have my 1st WI if I lost, but judging by how I feel I think I have lost.

I added one restricted a day after my second wi. So far it has not slowed things down.

I have at least 1 restricted item every day since I started Ideal Protein. When I first began the diet I would often have 2 per day because my doctor thought I was heavy enough that I should be consuming a few more calories per day. Now I am back to having only 1 per day and I ALWAYS eat them in the evening after my dinner unless I have Oatmeal or Chocolate Pancakes for breakfast. I have lost 34.2 pounds in 10 weeks and am very pleased with that amount. So I think the restricteds are there to help us lose weight and we should use them!

I love my restricteds :) I have one every day for lunch and really look forward to it. Plus they're so easy to carry and eat on the go it makes life easier. They were designed to work with the program.

for my body, i cant have restricts every day. only like 3 a week.

I started at one per day, coach suggested moving to one every other day to "confuse" the system a bit and keep it guessing. On weeks where I have less of them, I typically have better results - but they haven't severely hindered me either. Down over 100 lbs. so far.

My losses increased when I added in the restricted. I am fairly close to my goal weight 148 today, goal 145) and the scale is still slowly moving down!
