Day 5 for me and I more or less feel back to normal! No headaches, No weak feeling, and not hungry - a colleague even gave me some hungarian candy this am, and i took it (not to be rude) and placed it in my draw and forgotten about it!! Normally i would have eaten it in a heartbeat, then asked for seconds!

Have my first official WI tomorrow, 6 days rather than 7 though, and fingers crossed for a good result!!!

Cheers/S...
Day 6 for me and I have my first WI tomorrow, too. Here's to great ones!

Wow- lots of great losses, and tons of energy on this board! So happy to see after a long day at work. I am doing well- feeling good, planning my meals and staying away from anything that could tempt. I am staying strong. My weight has stalled for 4 days so I am hoping to see a change soon. Goodnight all!

I just wanted to let you know of a dessert I had tonight.

2 cups rurbarb
1/2 tsp cinnamon and nutmeg
combine and cook till soft

Beat 2 egg whites with some salt till light and fluffy
add cereal mixture
Put cooked rubard in dish cover with cereal mixture and bake in convection oven 20 mins.........Top was nice and browned.

This is tart but I loved it

Is this counted as 2 cups of veggies?

Does the parchment paper keep veggies from caramelizing? I have had no luck baking veggies as they always become brown.

Do they store well?

Thanks!!
I'd say it was more like flat bread and I agree I don't think it would store/reheat well. I use it as a bun for my burger and it was delicious! I counted it as my veggies and 2 oz protein.

I made a yummy dish today for my lunch. I tasted just like Kheer (Indian rice dessert dish).

I grated 2 cups of cauliflower and then steamed them until soft. Refrigerated overnight. Added 1/2-3/4 of a RTD vanilla drink and added a splash of vanilla, stevia and cinnamon. Yummy! Really tasted like the real thing and like I was cheating!

Day 2 of IP and I'm surprised how well it's going. I had a great NSV today. I went to the mall with a friend after dinner and we walked in through the food court At first I looked around thinking about all the food I can't eat, but when my friend offered me one of her cookies, I reflexively said "no". I definitely didn't see that coming at all. Hopefully I can keep up the resolve

Thank you all so much for the encouragement of your awesome weigh-ins this week and for the great recipes and tips. I can't wait to try out the turnip baked "potatoes" and the cauliflower sticks!

turnip "fries" are the best - yummy - if you haven't made them yet pick up a turnip on your way home tomorrow

I take two potassium pills everyday instead of one. If I don't I get headaches and muscle cramps. You could take an extra one for a couple of days and see what happens. Ask your coach if you have one.

Any advice would be welcomed Thanks! Alicia

Hi, I have not started the plan yet but will be after my Dr's approval(appointment is Wednesday). I was wondering does everyone go to a coach or are some of you on the Ideal To Go online program?
