So today is the start o week 2. I lost 6lbs! I also TOM...I weighed in a few days ago and it showed I lost 10lbs. Is it because of TOM that the scale is different today? Also when do u know youre in ketosis?

Hi, and welcome! Some folks use those ketosis strips you can get at the pharmacy. I'm thinking that after a week, 2 tops, you should be in ketosis.

You'll probably hear it over and over, but don't stress about weighing yourself too often. The water weight, TOM and the 'big C' all play havoc with the scale, so you can go up and down and it does not reflect fat loss/gain. I didn't even own a scale during Phase 1. Just waited until my check-in at the clinic to find out. Think long term...keep doing the routine and the weight will come off...

I can be up as much as 6 lbs. when TOM is here - pretty aggrevating if you are looking at the scale all the time - you jut have to know that the scale will go up during TOM and then WOOOSSSHHHH!!! soon after. (At least that 's how it works for me.)
