Wink Mio and Sucralose

Hi..... this is my first post. I love these forums, so much info that I haven't gotten with my coach. I am 1 month into the IP diet and have lost 11 lbs. Do you find the less you have to lose the slower it comes off? I lost 6 1bs. the first week and then only 1 the second, but also lost 11 inches. It's strange how your body reacts to this diet. Down 3 last week and tomorrow is my 4th weigh in. Does anyone know if we can have sucralose??? I love using the Mio water enhancer. It really helps with getting the water in. But it has Sucralose in it. Thanks

Sucralose is fine, in fact, some of our packets use small amounts ofsucralose. But of course, everything in moderation.

I think many of us would be really put out if we couldn't have it. I suggest that you watch your carb intake on sugar-free items that contain sucralose. For instance, I love Splenda in my coffee and IP puddings. But 3 packets equal 1 carb, so i know i have to watch my intake.

Wow, so interesting that your coach wouldn't mention that. Makes me appreciate having this forum to ask others about their experience.

Nothing wrong with Mio but like stellartadpole said in moderation, once a day as a treat sure but I'd avoid using it for every bit of water. Remember we're trying to change our habits too.

I used to absolutely love water - until I started this diet. Now I can't stand it, so thank goodness for Mio.

My coach also recommended the True Lemon packets - there is also lime and orange flavor. Lemon is the best, the lime leaves a really weird taste in my mouth that does NOT go away.

I was the same. Loved just plain ice cold water before IP. Since I've been own for a couple of months, I use mio, tea and coffee to add more flavors to my day. I think it's because I'm getting the same flavors from my foods. I don't even need caffeine, but i still have my one cup of coffee in the morning for the taste.

I love the true lemon and true orange packets! I have also added cucumber and mint to my water from time to time...

Good to know. I just tried some yesterday. I really like it. I tried the Berry Pomegranate. I have also had success with some flavored Stevia. I don't put that in water but the English Toffee is quite good in the Cappuccino drink and some of the puddings like butterscotch. I think I will try that True Lemon as well. I have done well with my water intake but some days I feel like a walking fish tank.
