kielbasa?

  • Hi! Happy Friday..

just wondering...... is kielbasa allowed or not allowed
  • nope

    THANKS !
  • Just 2 oz of a Hillshire Turkey Kielbasa has 90 calories, 5g of fat and 510mg of sodium, and 9g of protein. That’ just 2 oz and it’s turkey! Beef goes up to 15g of fat and 170 calories.

All of the "sausage" type of meat have to much fat, hence why they taste good, but they are off plan.

this is my very first post on this site. my best words of wisdom to you is to not eat processed foods. i know it's hard sometimes but when you realize all the crap that goes into foods your body will thank you for being kind to it by feeding it whole foods!

Welcome! But please understand that those of us on this site in the Ideal Protein forum are addressing our diets in a specific way and under medical guidance. Thus telling us not to eat processed foods vs whole foods does not apply to our current diets.
