I was also very tired, but my week one results were more than worth it!!

I have also had alot of dreams... but I wouldn't say they were nightmares..

I have been OP for 33 weeks now and have loss 112lbs. It's a great program and well worth what you feel the first week!

So true!

I've been on the program just about 13 weeks now and I've lost 45 pounds, so you just know how much I love the IP plan. Being tired is very normal at first, so give your body time to adjust. It took me till about the 3rd week to feel all the energy I usually feel on low carb diets.

Good luck with your first weigh in.

Maggie ~ I am also weighing in tomorrow. Sounds like we are on the same path. I had a crazy dream last night about eating a bunch of non program foods. The other thing I had happen was I started my period when I shouldn't have for two more weeks. I read on several posts around here that it can happen but really two a month. good luck on your WI tomorrow. I would be glad to chat back and forth since we are on the same days. Hang in there! I definitely feel better already. :dizzy:

Hi Maggie, The first week was the hardest for me and it gets much, much easier! I began 11/11/11 and have lost 22 lbs! I weigh in tomorrow and will ask to be measured (I haven't been measured yet...) I'm losing about 2.5 lbs / week. It gets easier and my nightmares have subsided!!! I stick with it too 110%!!! Keep up the great work!!! From another Maggie... :)

I was encouraged to start after the New Year and I'm glad I didn't. The only date that bothered me was my wedding anniversary...I missed a nice dinner with a bottle of wine... but I'll make up for it next year! :) I'm really glad I didn't wait...there's no time like the present!!! :)

I guess it is a little different for everyone. Like day 4ish but apparently I have been leading myself into a longer time period by eating the FF whip cream and tic tacs (both recommended by my coach). So now those are out the window and I will resume my plan. I have not cheated so it should happen. Anyways, it is when you get over the hump "so to speak" no longer hungry. Someone with more experience than me can chime in and tell you exactly. Regardless keep on going. I am excited to have a weekly weigh in buddy.

Maggie1980 12-19-2011 08:33 PM

Aww I see! Ok cool. I think Im there. YAY!

Maggie ~ You should check out the forum titled "What I Wish My Coach Had Told Me". It was very informative.

I just had my first WI last night and I lost 10.6 lbs and 15.5 inches!!! I couldn't believe it. My husband lost 7 lbs. Today is the first day I'm actually not hungry, but last week I was ravenous most days. I'm hoping ketosis has finally kicked in. =) Good luck with your weigh in.

sarahmayhem 12-20-2011 02:25 PM

Wow, everyone's first week results are awesome!! I'm still a newbie too (just had my second weigh in today) but trust me - it only gets easier :)

Keep it up guys!!

4kiddos 12-20-2011 03:13 PM

Welcome to everyone. I look forward to tracking my progress with you all. Excited to get past ketosis. Hoping any day and feeling balanced again. Kind of out of whack right now. Great job on all the WI! :)

Hi Maggie,
This is my 2nd week and my 1st week's loss was 5lbs and 2.25 inches. I had a nightmare early on that I went off plan and was eating chips and anything else I could get my hands on. Now, I am just having LOTS of extremely vivid and detailed dreams every night. Anyone else experiencing this? I asked my Dr. today and she said she hasn't had anyone report that.
Good luck Maggie and congratulations to everyone!

Good for you! You will be happy with your results. The first week was hard, I didn't experience nightmares though-I do sleep like a log though!

Great job everybody!! Im actually getting used to the diet now and not having any cravings at all. Im not to concerned with cheating on Christmas except for the drinking part...IF you only new my family!!!! I did some research and I will only be drinking vodka and crystal light to keep carbs and sugar out! I know alcohol is a big nono on the diet but I need it to deal with the fam!!! LOL Anyone have any other suggestions for "good" alcoholic drinks???

Junetwin11 12-21-2011 06:41 PM

My first week on Ip I lost 14 lbs. I have been OP for 19 weeks and I have lost 67 lbs. I just love Ideal Protein :)
