Hello Trinique, where in the city did you go? There are 4 places close to where I live and I dont know what to pick. One is a chiropractic clinic one is a salon/spa and one is a weight loss center.

Hi Trinique, where in the city did you go? There are a few places equal distance from my house and I am not sure where to go. There is a chiropractic clinic, a salon and 2 weight loss centers. Maybe some of the other ladies can help me with this as well. Are some places better than others? Is a chiropractor your coach at the clinic, a hair dresser your coach at the salon, or are there people at these places that are specifically trained for IP and that is all that they do?

I'm not sure which part of the city you are in. I went to the one in St Albert and the coach was very good.

From what others have posted lately it ranges from $250-$300 for the first visit then $90-$100 a week. Your first visit usually gives you 9 days worth of a variety of food, a shaker, salt and all of your vitiamns

Question, do you pay per week?

I go for my consultation on Weds. ...After doing the math, I'm pretty sure I'd be saving money by doing this diet (if you add up the amount I spend on going out and being social...ie: dinners, drinks, etc.)

I'm really excited to get started. I have a bunch of vacations coming up starting in March - Vegas, Miami, Cruise... and I'd really like to be down to my goal weight.

If I start on Dec 1st, do you think it's possible to lose 40lbs by the end of March?

Yes, I pay per week, everyone does. You would definitely save money if you are going to eat out a lot. Your average meal is like $4.75 for your packet then your veggies so for maybe $6.00 a meal? if that? you can't even to go McD's and eat for $6 now a days. I am going to say it is possible, but everyone loses differently. In the month of OCT I loss 31lbs, but again I have a lot more to lose than you do. If you don't get there you will be really close to it....I say GO FOR IT....what do you have to lose besides weight?

Agree with Wuv, many people say they can't afford the diet etc. but compared to what we spent on going out to eat etc. it has to be cheaper by comparison, it just doesn't seem like it because you drop your money and come out with such a small bag of food lol.

40 pounds in 4 months, she could do it, I won't say you will, but it's very attainable for some in that amount of time, I am coming up on 5 months now, I am not the norm, I know that, but 15 a month is easily doable.
Good luck!!!

Just for an FYI, mine was $199 no tax, and my weekly is $84, no tax etc.

YUP, I think she can do it as well!!!...WE know this really well don't we Wayward???...lol

Thanks for the help you guys! I've been lurking this forum for years now, but it's just recently I decided to give the IP diet a try. ...I've been reading through all of the posts (even back from 2009!) ...and you guys are such a big inspiration/help!

I know I'm starting at the worst possible time (Christmas, holiday parties, new years parties, etc.) so I'm sure I'll have some set backs...but even if I'm down 20lbs, I'll be happy!

My body always seems to get to 180lbs and then stays there. I get discouraged, so of course I stop watching what I eat/trying. ...I'm hoping this time I'll have the motivation/tools to get to 170lbs!

hi dfend, my coach is in the salon (I went to the Millwoods one and she was terrible, didn't know much at all) but the one on Kingsway is awesome, she really knew her stuff. I'm not sure if she is a hair dresser, I will ask her when I go on Saturday. If you would like her number send me a msg k.

I paid 228 plus gst plus I got an extra packet for 4 dollars, total was 243. I thought the price was good and she sells u the individual packets. Her mom runs the St. Albert clinic.

I booked my consult at a clinic on 99th st. Kingsway and St Albert are a lil too far. But its booked for Wed! Im excited and kind of unsure about this. I have basically failed at all attemps prior. I usually have will power and self control for the first couple days and then I slowly just fade out. But i did quit smoking and have been smoke free for 6 weeks and I tried 2 times before and only made it a week or 2. Hopefully my non smoking will power will carry over with me for this new journey!

Trinique125 11-28-2011 10:25 PM

is the coach's name Trista?
she is very nice.
I have NEVER done a program like this before, this is day two for me and so far so good. I am also worried I'll waste my money but like my boyfriend said if you don't try you won't know if it works or not. And if it's not the diet for you then atleast you tried.

Good luck, it's not easy but from what others say you definitely lose weight, not sure how quickly you and I will because we don't have much to lose....will keep u posted.
