'Hola to all my skinny friends!

Running crazy lately but so enjoying Phase 3. All is well. Happy to see new Phase 3ers today! I haven't gotten on the scale but my pants felt a little snug this morning. :( Water, water and then some more water. Physical therapy is going well but I'm dealing with a great deal of inflammation. And unfortunately, I may end up having my knee scoped afterall. The underlying problem has to be corrected. This is stressing me out very badly. I am painfully reminded everytime I stand up and straighten my leg. :(:(:(

Date tomorrow with a new man I recently was introduced to.....life goes on! :)

Stay strong everyone and remember to back away from all the upcoming holiday treats. They may taste good for only a moment but just remember how horrible all that sugar makes you body feel. We worked too hard to give in.

Hope to check back in over the weekend!

I like the saying, "A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips." Or there's a skinny lady I work with that always says, "Over the lips and through the gums, watch our hips, here is comes."

Hi - so many of us are now on Ph 3 (or in Ph 4), I'd love to hear what you have for a Ph 3 breakfast.

So far, I have the same thing each day because i know it's ok and I'm afraid to try anything else.

I have 2/3 c 2% plain greek yogurt, 1 slice of ezekiah toast with 1T almond butter, 1 c berries.

Is anyone doing anything different?

Welcome (and almost) Welcome to Ph 3!!! I started in on Sunday and I am loving it! I was so nervous and felt this weird guilt about shopping for all that food - especially stuff we haven't been allowed all along.

Well, now I love it, I am more full/satisfied then ever before and I think I've lost 2-3 lbs this week.

For the yogurt - buy the plain yogurt, that way it shouldn't have sugar in it.

Woohoo on the 2-3 pound loss, I hope I lose on phase 3. I bought the Greek goddess plain nonfat yogurt, it still has sugar in it though.

So ladies, guess who has a loss that did not begin with 0 this week! Yep, me! Down 1.6 and couldn't be more excited! I made it through my daughters' family bday party, Thanksgiving, and we've eaten out a few times. Maybe my body will like phase 3 also! I will be doing 1 more week at phase 2 and then I will move on. I am at 152.2 so it would be a dream to make it into the 140s at least before I go to San Fran.

Hurrah for your 1.6 pounds, you and I are so close together! I am stopping at 152 though until after Christmas, then I will see. BTW, I fit into a size 8 pair of slacks today!!

Here is what I am eating:
(1) container 0% Fage Greek Yogurt, plain
3/4 c. Granola, mixed into the yogurt
(2) eggs + (1) egg white, scrambled
(1) small apple
(1) tsp PB

I have been eating this every day because I am totally addicted to it! I am a habitual eater and will the same thing over and over for months. I am on maintenance now, but this is what I ate through all of P3. I think you might be a little short on protein in your bfast.

stolaf 12-02-2011 05:50 AM

Jenny - Thanks for letting me know. I feel like I am eating so much food already! I see what you are having and definitely think I need more protein. Ok, I'll see what I can add for protein.

Thanks for the feedback!

What did you have? I am getting pretty excited for phase 3. :carrot:

I was down to 150.8 this morning! I know I will go up and down all week but that was awesome. TOM should be here about weigh in day too so that may cause some trouble. I'm just happy to finally see the scale moving again!

My head cold is getting worse. I'm miserable. I took some Nyquil last night so I could get some sleep and only woke twice to blow my nose so that was nice. This morning I can't breathe at all! My nose is so red and now it's really starting to get sore too.

My girls had their Christmas program last night or I would've just crawled in bed after work and called it a day. I wish I had more vacation time at work so I could've taken more Nyquil this morning and slept all day. Tomorrow they have another dance competition so I hope I feel at least a little bit better.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Ugh, it's going around, I have had it all week. congrats on the scale moving down.

this morning I will have yogurt and blueberries, a couple bites of cheese, cereal, so happy there is so much protein in greek yogurt. i liked the fage. I will have the chobani (spelling?) this morn to compare plain flavors.

I had Greek goddess plain yogurt with fresh raspberries, sunflower/flax toast with peanutbutter! The yogurt wasn't sweet enough so I added splenda.

Lynsey, run the humidifier!

I'm not sure I'll make it through the work day but I hate to go home with a cold. :(
Your breakfast sounds yummy. I wonder what time I will have to start getting up to get myself fed before leaveing the house in the morning. I like the grab and go of the shake and coffee that's for sure.

Can we use truvia on phase 3? I bought a bunch awhile back because I liked it in my hot green tea. I haven't touched it since June but I'd like to use it up if I can.

I have to give myself 30 minutes in the morning now to prepare and eat breakfast. Kind of sucks it takes so long, but the food makes it totally worth it! ;) I leave my house around 8:50 and get up at 6:50 to get ready, eat and clean up before I leave.

sandyh50 12-02-2011 08:03 PM

I was wide awake at 4 am and finally got up. I didn't eat breakfast until 5:30 but I thought of it! LOL
