Default Herbal Teas?

Do herbal tees with no caffeine count towards your water intake. I have heard conflicting views on this? Does anyone know?

I use the decaffinated as my water intake and if i use caffinated ones I'll add more water for the day. But I have found drinking hot tea is working great for me!

I didn't count tea as water, but that is a good idea!

Thanks,

Because I've had issues with water retention on this diet, I just researched natural ways to combat water retention and a lot of websites said dandelion tea (which is herbal of course) helps a lot. Off to my natural grocers store to buy some.
