Good morning all - did some cleaning out of /rearranging of my closet, again! I know have a stack of pants that I want to get into before I officially go to Phase 3 - I think they are a solid 10 lbs away so I'll have to change my ticker.

I had a crazy day yesterday so I didn't my veggies or all vitamins in. Today I will get back in the swing because I feel so much better when I get them all in.

Have a great day.

Good morning,
I have been off the program for 3 months and having a hard time getting started. The center is so busy, I can't get in for a appointment that fits into my schedule. I gained 5 lbs and don't want to start up that road again. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Monday all:

Good luck to those who weigh in today! Can't wait to hear about all your success!

Americans are beginning to gear up for T-giving. Let's hear some ideas of what type of IP foods you are preparing for your meal. We, as our tradition, will go to my SIL's house. She and MIL make the bulk of the food, and everyone else brings a dish or two to share. I told her I would definately bring a large raw veggie platter. I am unsure what else I am I going to take. My BIL, niece, and nephew are both watching their intake closely too.

Would love to hear what all of you are eating (or what the our neighbors to the North ate to celebrate T-giving and stay on track!).

Hi Everyone. I haven't been on in few days so just checking in. I had my WI Friday, down 4 lbs. Yeah. Loving it.
Wuv - looking good in the LSU sweatshirt.
Good luck everyone.
I am anxious about Thanksgiving too. But luckily, it is just my family and our mothers. And they are all on board with me using "modified" recipes for Thanksgiving. It will be a challenge but i need to stay on plan.
So i plan to try the green bean casserole using IP mushroom soup, the pumpkin pudding and Cauilflower mashed potatoes.
These are firsts for so we shall see. But worth trying because i do not want to go off plan. I am only 4 weeks in and many more weeks to go.
Stay strong everyone and good luck.

Could you provide me with (or point me in the direction) the cauliflower mashed potatoes recipe? I am not too nervous about it as I know I can have the turkey, veggie tray, etc. I will just keep repeating my mantra: "This is not the last time I will ever eat t-giving dinner again........".

Good morning everyone! Today is my 59th birthday and I saw 152.6 on the scale! Woohoo! What a birthday present, now if it will just stay down until I weigh in on Wed. I did Wuv's trick and drank tea all afternoon.

We are probably going to my mother in law's for thanksgiving, so I will make sure I bring what I need. Hopefully she has turkey and not ham!

BOYZ4US - I just bumped up a thread about Thanksgiving Dinner ideas. Check out the thread. There are good ideas there.
You will get through it. Staying on plan will feel better than eating all the "traditional" foods. Remember how tired and sluggish we all feel after gorging ourselves on Thanksgiving dinner. No need anymore.
Good Luck.

I am having Turkey, green beans, mashed "potatoes" , rhubarb crumble for dessert, IP stuffing and I might try and make the raspberry jello mixed with Blueberry Cranberry Pomegranate drink so I feel like I am eating cranberry with my stuffing. Can't wait!

Mashed Cauliflower- Steam med. head of cauliflower till well done
- Place cooked cauliflower, ½ tsp. olive oil, garlic, rosemary, oregano and sea salt in a food processor.
- IP chicken Soup prepared
- Blend everything till smooth
- Top with fresh cut chives

Stuffing : http://kountrywheyidealprotein.com/g...-stuffing.html

The Rhubarb dessert I just cooked frozen rhubarb until soft and mushy and threw in some vanilla, torani salted caramel syrup, strawberry WF jam, splenda (3-4 packets), cinnamon, nutmeg, salt
Spread the rhubarb mixture in a sprayed casserole dish. Then in a bowl mix IP oatmeal with some salt, cinnamon, apple pie spice, nutmeg, I warmed a little “can’t believe it’s not butter spray and olive oil in microwave for 12 seconds and mixed with oatmeal to get it crumbly, then sprinkle on top of rhubarb mixture and baked for 15mins at 250. I broiled for 2 minutes on low at the end. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning,

I thought i had gotten lucky yesterday and found the miracle noodles at the health food store but it wasn't.. They were called tofu noddles and were packed like the miracle noodles (in a bag of liquid) but they weren't 0/0/0, for 1/2 bag, it was 20 calories, 0.5g fat and 3 carbs (2 fibers but no sugar).

Going to the US this week-end to get my christmas turkey (please tell me the sales weren't last week) and i want to look for things we don't have like the I can't beleive its not butter spray. Is there anything else i should look for? My kids are excited as i always pick up lots of stuff that we don't have here.

Welcome wuv's mom!

have you thought about doing alternatives until you get into the clinic. There are many that are using them.
