I am on my 4th week and have lost 14.4 1lbs. As others have said, the first week can be hard, but my hard week was actually the second week, so I guess it took me a little longer for my body to realize I was making change.

Good Luck!

WELCOME ABOARD!!!! This is an awesome plan and if you follow it, you WILL lose!!! I lost quite a bit my first two weeks and it has been a bit slower since but as long as those numbers (scale and inches) are going down, I am a happy girl!!!
I am a single mom with an 8 year old daughter and she is a great cheerleader! She always wants to try my IP food and definitely likes to pick it out for me!!! She is also awesome about eating what I make for dinner...usually fish/chicken and veggies. I make rice for her as she definitely needs the whole grains!
I will tell you cucumbers, either plain, dipped in mustard or marinated in vinegar is one of my staples for lunch as it is EASY! For dinner, my go to's are either roasted broccoli or sauteed mushrooms.
This is a great place to share all of your emotions about this diet...when your happy, when your bummed, when your frustrated, etc. There is so much support here and so much knowledge...it really is incredible!!!
I have been at it for 11 weeks and have lost nearly 30 lbs...it is awesome and I feel great!
It will be an awesome ride...just stick with it!!!

Cucumbers are a staple for me as well, my son said I am going to turn into a cucumber or a pickle cuz I eat them so much....Try spearing the cucumber then sprinkling a packet of splender over it....DELICIOUS!!!....sweet, salty and crunchy. When my son was home from college I told him here taste this, he said its a cucumber mom I said I know but taste it. He did and he said OMG now I want a cucumber of my own....haha....also try this recipe....

Spiced Cucumbers
1 large cucumber
1 packet of artifical sweetener
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of pepper
Seasoning of your choice to taste
Cut cucumbers into slices. Combine artificial sweetener, olive oil, rice wine vinegar, and seasonings. Place cucumbers into the marinade and enjoy.

It does indeed get easier after the initial few days. It starts getting a LOT easier once it becomes more routine and you learn how to make meals easier, faster, and lose some of the "hungry" feelings. It REALLY works if you follow the protocol. If you can touch base with Wuv would be great as she is a terrific motivator and mentor.
