New IP Packets Have Less Protein?
Hi Everyone,
Just picked up new packets - listing less protein. Why? Ex: Old Silver Packet Cream of Chicken Soup (28g) - New White Packet (24g) " " - Cappuccino (28g) also, now " " (24g) I do not have any other new ones to compare but wondering and did not notice until this morning or would have asked coach... |
Maybe it improves the taste, there is a reason behind it trust me. They wouldn't do anything to affect the losses we have. I guess I am just oblivious to stuff like that, I never look at the carbs of the packets, I know I can have it, so I just pick 3 boxes.

Interesting. 4g less x 3 pkts = 12g less protein per day.
Is that the only difference? --------------- My boxes: Cream Chicken Soup 21g Dark, milk chocolate and vanilla puddings 18g Raspberry jelly 19g Blueberry pome cranberry drink 17g |
Bit concerning to me as we've been increasing my protein some and I'd hoped to be dropping to 3 packets. Be interested to understand why the change; just financial, better quality protein or what.

It just occurred to me that OP may have meant total packet weight, not protein grams.
I checked my chicken soup and it is 28g total weight. So if the new white packets are decreasing to 24g total weight, that might not be so bad, and may not affect the protein content at all. |
