Does anyone use EAS Carb Control drinks? How are they?
 

I just ordered some, and I'll be using it as a nonrestricted. Is there any difference?

Many people use them... I dont think that they taste as good as IP Chocolate... But that is my opinion... You can pick them up just about everywhere... Walmart has them as well...

Jenny I really think you need to read the sticky's about the alternatives....it will answer all of your questions instead of opening a post of each one....Take the time to read them...there is very important information there

I use them - I started with IP products and did that for three months. I drink 3 per day and follow the plan and I lost 120 pounds doing that. I prefer the dark rich chocolate over the chocolate fudge, but they are both good. They don't taste quite as good as the IP ready to drink, however, they only cost 1.10 each at Walmart. The IP ones wer $4.00 each. I adjusted to the taste just fine.:carrot:

Sometimes people are just trying to get their feet wet - I don't consider this a mountain, more like a molehill.

I use them and I like the new taste better than the older version so look for the "New Improved" sticker. I also like the vanilla to mix with anything. I've tried some mixes from the alternatives thread.

Yep and they are ok. I like blending them up in the blender with ice and flavored Torani Sugar-Free syrup. mmmmmmmmmm

I did use them after two months of buying IP, but I am now using the ones from Premier Nutrition(Costco). They are thicker and taste much better IMO. I am on phase 4.

I've try the strawberry and the chocolate ones, they are OK, but not as quite as good as the IP ones. IP chocolate one is creamier than EAS chocolate version, which is kind of watery.

I drank these EAS carb control drinks before IP, and I still occasionally drink one before I workout so I don't waste my IP products. I love the chocolate fudge and vanilla. I'm not much on the dark chocolate or strawberry. They are definitely easy to throw in a bag or in the car for back up. :D

I've been wondering if there's an alternative to the IP drinks too, I love the IP drinks but they are $4.75 each where I get them. If the EAS drinks are the SAME caloric/nutrition content then I would like to try them, as long as they don't slow or impede my weight loss so far. Are they the same serving size as the IP drinks??

Wow, just looked these up. 30 grams of protein and only 5 carbs! Do they keep you satisfied (fuller feeling) more than the EAS brand?

I have one of these every morning. I love that they have such high protein with low carbs. The price is good too. There is more in the contaier so you feel like you are fuller. I'm in Costco every second wek so it's convenient too.I never tried the EAS ones.
