I am not sweating the small stuff! I am going to stay on phase 2 for awhile and see if I can drop some more, I thought about going to phase 3 in a week, but we will see. I am pretty content and am not going to beat myself up over the scale.

Jenny - LOVE the new picture. You look amazing and worked hard for every bit of it. Congrats.

Added some of my family pics to my blog if you'd like to see them. I'm happy with them for the most part. My booty looks bigger than I'd like and I don't like the my tummy in the sitting one. I am thankful for how far I've come and love how much better I look than I did 50 pounds ago though. There were 232 good ones so I'm having a hard time picking favorites. There are a ton of great ones of my beautiful girls so it's going to be a struggle ordering.
Oh, and my blog link is in my siggy if you are interested. |
Great pics Lynsey!

Bella, I was going to tell you yesterday that you sound so much more relaxed and less anxious about this diet. Good for you.

I too am phasing out, I haven't been able to get lower than 148 and usually am up the next week. I am not going to start weighing myself everyday, so with my coach I have decided to phase out, will start phase 3 tomorrow. 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1 cup berries, 1 piece of toast with peanut butter and maybe 1/3 cup of granola... can't decide. but that is what I am going for...easy to make at work as there is a toaster there. My next weigh in will be the 21 as my coach is getting married and will be away. So hopefully my body likes phasing off because I love where I am and don't want to go up too much. Will let you know tomorrow how it goes. Have a great night. |

So today I was back up to about where I was on Saturday! No good. I am less sore today but still a little "tender". I got up early again and did the exercises but didn't even try to do anything from the floor in fear of hurting the already sore tailbone. I have had some C issues the past few days so if I can get rid of "that" I think I will be ok come Thursday.
Thanks for the positive comments on my photos. |

I miss seeing Jordana and the others too, I did check her blog (jordana's) and noticed she is still going strong. :)
Well today I have my 16th weigh in!!! crazy how fast time goes by. never thought a size 6 would be big on me, I used to wear my 12s to work sometimes with the top botton unbottoned after lunch!:o If I see the 130s on the scale today I might just cry tears of joy. I just weighed in on Thursday, so I hope there is at least some progress on the scale... i felt thinner today. For those with "C" issues I have been drinking Super Dieter's Tea one cup a day more consistently than I was in the past and it has helped soften and helped me go more frequently. So I am getting the new chocolate chip cookie product today! woohoo!:cookie::cookie: Sandy, you said they are yumo, Is it going to be like the bars...I am going to want more and more? :?: |
darn I forgot to ask about the cookies, oh well, since I only use them now for snacks that would have fit the bill. Am so happy to be on phase 3, had my toast and pb and yogurt and fruit and am sooo full. hard to imagine after having a drink for 9 months for breakfast to have something different. Kind of a pain planning though, now I have to plan for all three meals and I am not really a planner, kind of a go by the seat of my pants... did buy a few things so I can have options, may just do a blended yogurt drink this weekend as I am at a dog trial both days... and I was so looking forward to poached eggs and toast, next weekend will do. My coach barely had time for me yesterday she is so excited she is getting married this weekend so work is the last thing she is thinking about. So I won't weigh in next monday, which since I already have a busy day booked won't bother me, so my next wi will be 21st. Will be interesting to see what and if I gain in phase 3 because that will be the end of my two weeks and I can then start maintenance... which will be nice, I know I am still going to be picky at what I eat, but will have more options. Went out the other night with a friend for supper at Red Robin and had a grilled chicken in lettuce it was sooo good, and my friend had a burger with fries and dessert and all I could think of was wow wonder how many calories are in that mud pie, at least 600 and then fries and burger... oh my that is enough for two days for me... to truly is funny how we think different after being on a strict diet like IP isn't it?
Lyndsey forgot to say your pictures are lovely and your family look so sweet together. Jenny - nice dress. |

Thanks for the compliments ladies!
Had my official WI today since I am going to be traveling and won't be around tomorrow. Down another 1.2#, which is great! I guess it took my body a little bit of time to adjust to the food differences of P2, but then it adjusted itself. I think my body, in general, is adjusting itself. Even though there is only a pound difference from last week, my inches are still changing. There is definitely some "shifting" going on. I am on P2 for another week, maybe 2, depending on where I am with my weight. Either way, by 11/23 I will be in P3. |

Moving abroad for a year is a BIG move but awfully exciting, too. A word of advice? Take enough personal care stuff and a good Korean or Okinawan cookbook in English that uses local ingredients. And seasonings you particularly like. If your in doubt about whether or not to take something and think you might want it, check to see if YesAsia ships it. It's a LOT cheaper to pay an airline for 2 extra bags that to ship. Hope this helps. And 2Ride, I'm trying to figure out if your tomorrow is my today. Quite early Wednesday here. Regardless, enjoy your breakfast for all of us, OK? Oops, should have read further. Soooo, how was it? |
Cookies are yum!
The cookies are big and delicious, a real treat~

I've had a horrible morning ladies. It started with the scale being up to 155.8. Yeah, Monday I was 154.4! Tomorrow is weigh in day! Then I checked my phone and had a message from my sister about watching my girls and wanting me to pay her more. Long story I won't get into. Then my hubby and I tried talking about the sister thing which turned into a big fight and he's not returning my messages. Then I spilled my coffee all over myself and forgot my morning shake and had to go back home before I could come to work. I'm thinking about asking to change my hours so I can just bring my girls to school myself but I don't know if that's the right thing to do either. I'm a ball of nerves and mostly just want to go back to bed. So how's your day going? Better I hope!

I think my day is going better than yours--though it is just a little after 8am, I'm optimistic. |
Lynsey, I am sorry for your bad morning! My scale was up a pound from yesterday and I gained .25inches in my knee and ankle(swelling from arthritis I think). Anyway, I lost 1 pound this week at weigh in for a total of 47 1/2 pounds in 20 weeks. I did lose a half inch in my hips! I think they are just sagging more, LOL!
I haven't decided when to start phase 3, I am still pretty happy in phase 2. Good luck at weigh ins everyone! |

I just finished my breakfast and it was AMAZING. I think that was probably the best orange I have ever had. My body love, love, loved phase two so I hope it doesn't revolt in phase three. |

But each time I measure for inches lost I think I should have had marks tattooed in strategic places for lining up the tape measure. At least then I'd have a chance at hitting roughly the same place.:o Glad to hear that you are enjoying phase 2. |
I just finished two long days at school with parent teacher conferences in the evening. To top off the nght my car wouldn't start, so caught a ride with a colleague. Made big mac in a bowl, and hit the hay. But going to bed so early has me up early too, sigh....Friday is a day off since we had evening conferences. All my bars are gone so back to pudding cakes/muffins. I should just get serious and lose these last 6 pounds! This one pound a week stuff, oh well, it is what it is.
I am so happy for Wuv(Lisa) on losing her hundred pounds. I want to be right here as she continues to reach her goal. Patns, my coach measures me, but I swear, I have to always show here where my waist is, it just isn't that defined anymore. I dyed my hair and I think I look ten years younger. I am not into the gray hair, even though people thought it looked nice. Have a great day everyone. |

Down 0.8 this week at 155.2. I'm so upset I didn't make it back down the the 154.4 I saw during the weekend. TOM should be here sometime around Tuesday so maybe that's what brought me up. Who knows? It is what it is. I also lost 1.5 inches.
I have 10.2 to lose before I move to phase 3 and I only have 4 weeks. This trip really ruined my diet plans. ;) I really wanted to get TO goal 100% before moving to 2 and have whatever I lost there as my cushion but it seems I won't even make it to goal before moving to 3. Funny how life changes things for you. I know I'm not ready to be done. I'm still uncomfortable with my belly so I will have to restart once I get back I guess. Bummer. Does anyone know if you have to phase off everytime? Can I just do phase 1 until I get to where I want since it won't be that much? Or maybe I'll just try calorie counting or something different and see if I can lose the rest that way. I'm a big pot of unknown right now. I am still 0.4 from that 50 pound loss so I can't quite schedule the massage yet. Should've just scheduled it when I was at 50 on Saturday. ;) Good luck to the others weighing in today. |
I thought about going to phase 3 next week, but I am so comfortable in phase 2 that I think I will stay here and just get the job done. MY coach says that not many people lose in phase 2 so I will be happy to lose 1 pound a week. If I don't lose, then I will just move on to phase 3.
I hear ya, Lynsey, I need to lose 2 1/2 pounds to get to my fifty pounds lost. |
I had to take a trip down memory lane going through old facebook pics this morning I was so upset with that less than a pound loss. I posted some not so good pics on my blog of where I came from so now I feel a little bit better. ;)
I hope to continue at a pound, or 2 would be nice, while in phase 2. I really wish I could lose more in 3! I have about 7 weeks before I go so if I could just lose a pound a week I'd ALMOST be there. I will continue the tummy exercises to see if that helps my trouble area. I didn't lose in my "pooch" this week but I did lose 1/2 in in my hips, waist, and thigh. I used to never be able to widdle my thighs so a 19.5" thigh is new to this girl! I'll continue those reverse crunches and jack knives on my ball to try to flattern the big ole pooch. |

As for the dress, it has a little draw string at the waist, so I should be able to make it work :) But if not, then that means I got a lot smaller, and that is a good thing too! :D It is also the reason why I am trying not to buy too much, until things "finalize". |
