restarting and need motivation!!!

Hi, I was on IP 1 yr ago and lost almost 50 lbs. Then went back after I gained 12 lbs about 9 months later, I only stood on plan for 3 weeks, I was 170 and the first wk I lost 7 lbs, then the second wk I lost 1 lbs and the third week dissapointed me I gained 1 lb!! I quited! And now 2 months after that second try, I am 175 20 lbs bigger than 1 yr ago, when 8 became sucessfull with IP, I am extremely depress and don't feel like buyin anything for myself, 3 days ago I went to JC penny and tried on a size 13 skinny jeans and they were soo thight, almost didn't fit! My fat tummy was hanging eww!!, I was a size 9 before I decided to gain these 20 pounds!! But I am giving it another try to see how it goes, with the help of some alternative products, because this time I can't afford the whole program.

There are a lot of us out there having to come back to this diet. What I find enteresting is that it is this diet that you come back to. I have been on many diets and I have never went back to the same diet twice. What I know for sure - this plan works for me. I have come back before things got terribly out of hand again and I know where I am going. I will have to do things a little different this time, like- phase out, but I have learned some things from my past mistakes. We can do this - get out your old daily records of what you ate the last time on the plan and follow them. I was amazed at how my eating had changed. I ate one of my old faithfuls tonight - mashed cauliflower with steamed chicken breasts. Funny how things change when we are not paying attention. Hang in there and do this One Day at a Time (ODAT).

I am restarting too!! Today is day 4 for me. It feels so good to wake up, feeling less bloated and proud of yourself instead of guilty. Start today, you can do it!!! I love how good I feel on this diet.

I've been having the worse time restarting. I try to get through my day eating what I have to but I always start grabbing for something else. Good luck, stay strong. Today will be my 1st day trying to get back on track.

Xjennyd, we are both going through the same situation, and it makes everything more difficult everytime we decide to eat something we sould'nt, tell me about it, but we have to keep in mind that we can do this, and we are not alone, we have this forum full of inspirational stories, and we both know this thing works, you are doing awesome! Only 10 lbs to lose!!! Keep it up and don't give up.
