Yeah I cut mine up into lots of little pieces also. It is good because it makes me feel like there's a lot, it lasts longer, and because the pure protein bars are very dense and less of a mouthful when eating little pieces.

The bars and the shake are about the only thing I use, mostly because of the price or the availability of the products. I do have a few WF dressings but they taste funny. Everything else is vegi's and meat.
I will tell you this, I got the peanut butter ones (pure protein) from Amazon for 9.75 for 2 boxes when they were on sale. They have actually gone on sale twice this month for that price. They are on sale for $10.45 right now through subscribe and save and the other flavors are like $9.15 for 2 boxes, can't get much cheaper than that and they are pretty tasty.
Didn't like the chocolate chips ones as much as peanut butter though.

The Whey I use now is this stuff from Wal-Mart:

And for the record, I have eaten a restricted EVERYDAY since starting the diet, and actually I eat it every night, and pretty late to boot.
I typically don't eat dinner until around 10:30 because that's when I get home from exercising, and then I eat my restricted (typically bbq-ridges lol) around 11:30 each night.
Not saying it's prefect, I am just saying it has worked for me.

I too love the peanut butter ones. The choco chip are just ok, but i like the other two better. I will have to look for the sales as I am down to one PB

wuv, that was funny!!! Us poor girls........

Back from weigh in ......

5 pounds and 11 inches down! YEAH!!!! Pretty much 2 inches from everywhere except for neck, underarm, and ankle.

makes me so regret not being 100% on plan. I can't imagine what those numbers would have been.

Oh well, it's a new week and I am ALL IN!

Thanks for the encouragement, yvetteski. I greatly appreciate it.

Quick question for everyone...... is rutabaga allowed in Phase 1? I saw a great recipe on her for fries..but than I see rutabaga is a root vegetable, therefore I wouldn't think allowed yet.

Anyone know?

That is funny. I have seen another one like that that says something like, "I think it's called a scale but my mom calls it a f*@&ing liar".

Great job. I would've never thought to measure my ankles. Everyone measures in such different spots.

You are probably right. I just hope I stay around 2.5+ pounds for the next few weeks so I can move on when I need to.

Default A few questions for today

Hi everyone,
I hope all doing well.

I have a couple of questions about supplements. I have been very good about taking them all every day. I have, however, forgotten a few times to take them right after my meals, so I have taken them at the end of the day (that is a lot of pills to swallow). Is that bad? Are they less effective? Most importantly, will it interfere with my weight loss?

Also, does anyone drink sparkling water, like Pelegrino? I noticed it has sodium in it.

Finally, horseradish. Is it okay? Carbs are listed as zero, but one of the ingrediants is food starch. Is the amount to small to impact weight loss? I love the taste and it makes eating beef so much more enjoyable.

Thanks everyone.
