As a newbie I can't tell you how important this thread is to me. All the stories of success and encouragement will help me make it through. I "officially" start on Monday the 24th and will be visiting this thread often. Thanks to the veterans for your experience and encouragement.

You are welcome!! you may read a lot of post on here where some people "cheat" and still lose weight, this may be true but they are cheating themselves as well. Stick to the program and it does work.

As of today I have been on the program for 26 week, starting date was April 27th, 2011 and I am proud to say that I have not eaten ONE THING that is NOT on my plan, Not a taste, bite or nibble, NOTHING and I can say that I have lost 91lbs and 69.5 inches in that 26 weeks. I still have a ways to go but I will continue to follow the plan as directed because IT DOES WORK.

Good Luck on your journey and please do keep us posted as to how you are doing:) I like seeing "newbies" go through their experiences and being successful just as I like seeing the experienced one sailing along in theirs. We all have the same journey we just all go about it at different paces BUT we WILL all GeT THERE!!! that is the most important thing!!!

Wuv, You are such an inspiration to all of us. Before I read your posts, I felt like I would never be able to reach my goal. I've tried and failed so many times. This time I know I CAN do it and I'm in for the long haul!

I like the idea of this forum! What a great idea. I am really new although I have been reading and commenting for several weeks. Today was my second day on IP and I would like to admit my mistakes and ask a question. My first mistake was using 2 tablespoons of olive oil instead of 2 teaspoons. Corrected that today,so it won't happen again. My second mistake was leaving my bag full of IP foods on the desk in the computer room. The pups (a 14 month labordooldle and and 12 month german shepard) got into my bag and tasted a couple of my bars and chewed holes into several of my packets and scattered IP dust all over the room. The little dickens......
One question is if Splenda is okay to use? I have really tried to like the Stevia, but, I am really struggling with that. My second question is if the salad and veggies have to be eaten at lunch or can I use them as a mid afternoon snack?
As always thanks to everyone on board!

lindac36 01-04-2012 10:37 PM

what does it mean when you say you 'bumped' it?

mrsmurphy 01-04-2012 10:58 PM

This thread is great ... I was struggling today. I think I will come back and read this everyday that I feel like giving up. I can't express how helpful and beneficial this site is to my life right now. It is exactly the support I have needed for such a long time.

Thank you everyone :)
