Questions for Maintainers

For those of you who are at the maintenance phase, I would greatly appreciate some honest answers about your personal experience in arriving and staying at goal weight:

Did you do the program exactly as specified, no cheats, no substitute foods, each phase in order?

Did you "cheat" a little and if so, how? Some folks seems to cheat with an Atkins approach, others with a carb counting approach, others do a binge and then start over. How did cheating affect your progress?

Did you use foods off the IP plan that were similar in content? Did you think it affected your losses?

What was your greatest challenge during the program?

What is the greatest challenge in maintenance?

THANK YOU. I realize that everyone arrives in their own personal way and there is room for variations. I'd like to see if there are some common threads we can all learn from.

Purrfect,

There are 2 active threads right now that may answer some of your questions. "The Maintainers" and a great new one "Products for Maintenance". Try those and we are happy to answer any other questions if you think of them. It's an ongoing process!

Lynn
