Hi,

Did you have to pay customs on top of what they already charged you on your credit card for shipping? I just called them and cancelled my order cause I've heard that we have to pay customs as well. I live in Quebec, so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Duty is hit or miss. I have ordered a number of times and not had to pay any duty. Since the postal strike, I've ordered twice and paid duty twice. LOL
Just for information sake, I paid $126 (cost+shipping) for 8 boxes of food (7 packets in each). I had to pay $17 in duty (GST+PST+$5 processing fee) when I picked it up. That comes to $2.55/packet.
I hope that helps.

You amaze me on a daily basis. Congrats!

So I'm sure this has been brought up soo many times, but I bought these protein shakes at Wal-Mart (EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control) And they looked like they would be fine. 17 g High quality protein (sounds similar to Ideal Protein already), 2-6 g carbs depending on the flavor, 0 sugar, 3 g fat. But I think since I'm exercising I could possibly just drink one of these a day instead of the extra 2 eggs and it could serve as an extra packet...at a fraction of the cost. Anyone else drinking these?

I frequently used the vanilla RTD boxes with coffee in the morning on phase 1 and 2. I did buy the EASEadvantage vanilla light one time in Target (a 4 pack) and I LOVED them! so cheap. I live about 300 miles away from a target but the next time I get to one, I plan on buying a bunch. I also had a good weight loss the week I used them.

Yeah for Wuv! What a great loss this week! Congrats.

Congrats to the birthday girl with the size 15 jeans too! I've been having lots of fun shopping in my own closet lately too.

I envy all those non-hungry people too. I'm usually hungry, although the copious amounts of water helps. I stop myself from eating by looking in the mirror at the new me!

I'm wandering around my house doing odd jobs and gnawing on a romaine heart LOL It's tough being good esp. when there is no one else here so no one would know...and that my friends is what got me here in the first place. DOH !! I've really trimmed back on the carbs in my packets this week, hopefully it won't be all for naught. Yep...I'm just sitting here, gnawing my lettuce stump and dreaming of the home grown steak I'm going to BBQ for supper, MMMMMMM beef -inset Homer drool here-

Home grown steak sounds delicious!!!!

I am hungry a lot on this program as well. I chug down a cup of water when I get the hunger pains, or find something to do to get me past the 5 mins of hunger telling myself that I'm not really hungry. I work from home as well and with the kids back at school I have no one here during the day either. Some days are better than others as well. On the days where I don't feel hungry I wish all my days were like that.

There is a post somewhere about these products having "heavy metals" detected in them....... Will have to look into it I guess.

Today is the perfect example as to why I never get upset with low numbers or NO numbers like I had last week. IT will come off when your body is ready to release it. I did nothing different this week, except I didn't eat cherry tomatos which I only had twice last week.

Ok now I can go read the threads, wanted to post this first! I hope everyone is having and AWESOME day :):):)

You are an inspiration!!! Keep up the GREAT work!

Thanks, I don't think I will ever give up not even when I am at the end. My cousin loss 5lbs this week so that makes me 21lbs in 4 weeks!

Stuffed peppers are in the oven for dinner. This is my 'witching hour'....this is the time where I used to graze just before dinner was done cooking. Now that I think of it, I think I used to consume a meal's worth of calories just killing time for dinner to be cooked!

So my new/replacement habit is to whip out the computer and check out how everyone's day has been.

So today was weigh-in day for me. Weigh in week lost 2.5. I love this board it keeps me so inspired. Thank you all. Today was also a hard day for me because my 4 year old (almost 5 year old) went to preschool this morning and was fearless (made it easier on me) but I was a lil bit heart broken. I can't believe she is this big already. I had shed a few tears before I got to work. Tough one for me. :( When I picked her up the first thing she said was, "I had a great day mom!" Put a smile on my face.

Hope everyone's week is going well.

They do grow up fast, I am like that every time my youngest leaves to go back to college. Its a great feeling when they do well on their own...enjoy every minute of it :)

WI today was down 1.4lbs....but she told me my BMI went down from (27. to 26.7) and my fat% went down from (36.8% to 35.2%) in one week fat mass (54.21 to 51.41) so I'm thinking that, that is good numbers? does anyone know more about the BMI/FAT%?FAT MASS?

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR GIRLFRIEND!!!! THATS AMAZING!!! Your such great motivation to ALL of us newbies, and always so willing to help, seems like you deserve it!!! woo

I was going to tell you - I had a bar today, and a shake, and I was feeling much better. I love to be creative with food - but bad food. haha with this diet i think for a little while with the packages i need to 'keep it simple stupid'

LisaPatriciaK 09-07-2011 07:18 PM

Today was my second day on the diet - and my first day back at work (Back to School!!) I thought it was going to be really hard becuase I felt like such S*** yesterday! But it was great. Really helps with the routine, and I didn't have as much time to just think. it was greattt!
Im finding even though Im enjoying the food fine, and im hungry at meal time, that I feel gaggy when Im eating it. POSSIBLY CAUSE I JUST WANT SOME CHEESE ON IT. hahaha. so Im eating slow, and taking my time, is this unusual??

- Kind of a side note... why doesn't my profile picture appear when I post?

Do you have your picture set up as your Avatar? I am glad it was easy for you since you are back to school now. Once you get in the routine of it, it will become second nature. LOL @ the experimenting with the bad food....now you just have to learn to do it with this food, it works too....lol

You are or are not hungry at meal times and gagging?
