That being said I have also had restrictives during the day (chili, maple oatmeal) but making sure I didn't have a snack that day.

Is everyone else having 3 packets per day? she said I probably could have lost more had I done so. I aim to loose 50 lbs

Not sure if that is a good start or not....

Hi - you MUST have 3 packets a day, plus one protein that you make (i.e. chicken, steak, etc). Just make sure that that of the 3 packets a day you have 2 of them on non-restricted and 1 is restricted OR have all 2 as non-restricted.

Good luck!

4.6lbs loss your first week is great. Make sure you are getting all 3 of your packets plus your regular food for dinner. Make sure you are getting 4 cups of veggies a day and all of your water. Those things are very important to the success of this plan. You can have the restricted AND a snack PLUS one more unrestricted. IF i eat a restricted its for breakfast then I have a shake for lunch with 2 cups of veggies, regular dinner with 2 cups of veggies and pudding for a snack at night. Hope this helps out

Thanks for the info guys! I made sure to purchase more snacks to use this week. I will have the 3 packs a day and see if that does anything different for me

Everyone seems to be doing so well on this program - way to go!

Great job newbies! I still get hungry every once in a while. When I look back though - those were either TOM related times or just emotional garbage. When you have those times, drink a glass of water first to see if you are truly hungry or just emotionally hungry. Make yourself think about it. It makes a huge difference.

I just chew gum when that happens and drink my water of course! I think I have trained my body pretty well now, I don't get hungry at all anymore and sometimes I literally forget to eat. I look at the time and sometimes I am having lunch at 3-4pm, its kinda crazy...lol

Hey everyone
I had my first weigh in Tuesday and I also lost 4.6 pounds. They told me most people lose more the 1st week....in a nice way.....;)0 and also my body fat stayed the same. :( Not sure when that starts to go down.
Anyway, i am in my second week and feeling good and strong.
I look different in the mirror which may just be my imagination because I feel so much better when I am eating healthy!!!! :D

Food I like so far is crispy cereal, vanilla rtd, puddings, eggs, and the best is the chicken soup! Yum!

Have a great day.

Renee

Your body may be different than everyone else, that is why you should never compare yourself to anyone. 4.6lbs is great!

Good afternoon everyone, I'm on my 2nd week and wish I would have found this site sooner. My first week was really rough, I had a hard time adjusting but luckily I lost 8lbs. Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Hi there,
I'm happy to see a newbie site here. I'm on week 3 (down 16lbs, WI Saturday) and I just realized that I ate 2 restricted items today. I feel terrible (not physically, just really wish I'd been paying attention). I'm hoping it doesn't affect the numbers on the scale, I just made sure my afternoon snack was a drink with the fewest carbs possible. Hopefully it will all even out over the day.
I'm finding this week quite hard and am anxious about the WI...we'll see. I'm so happy to have found this website and others going through the same thing.
Oh, I too ate the cereal my first morning and thought is was okay...but then I spoke to my coach and he suggested throwing cinnamon on it. It's now much better like that. I also throw cinnamon on the oatmeal too. Just another food tip, I will sometimes make extra veg the night before and throw a cup in my omelette. It makes it seem more substantial and it's a great way to get in a cup of veg. Yum!

Having 2 restricted won't hurt you, you will be fine. Welcome to the board, there a few newbie threads that have started around. There is also one for introductions to IP. Here is a link drop by and say hello.... http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/idea...l-protein.html
