I do my program through a chiropractor's office and have never had any sort of physical or bloodwork done. I wasn't even aware that was part of the program until I got on here. As a nursing student it makes it a little nervous to know these things should be checked and they aren't. I have been thinking about switching to Ideal To Go because I feel like I'm paying for nothing. I go weigh in and buy food, I don't get any advice or bloodwork. From what I understand a months worth of food is $300 on idealtogo.com. Also a friend referred to me to kaysnaturals.com which sells a lot of similar foods for much MUCH cheaper.

I do through the Clinic my Doc is at, but haven't seen him in almost a year. Filled out the form, met with the Coach and she checked the information they already had in the computer and said she'd give him a heads up to review things. Next week said he was happy I was doing it, no worries but would want to do blood work after a couple of months.

I never had any blood work or physical either. All of the coaches are retired nurses at my clinic.
I think you should use your campus's student health center to get a physical and ask about the diet. The fees you pay in your bill each semester support this and there should be no cost to you. On the campus I work at, we have a CNP who takes care of the students. She is the one who recommended IP to me! |
