Did I throw myself out of ketosis?
I wound up having about 6 oz of honey roasted turkey breast in a salad with cucumbers and mushrooms for dinner. Honestly, the kitchen was too hot to cook anything and the toddler was overtired and I just needed something quick.
It's very low cal, low carb and low fat, but still -- it's honey roasted! What was I thinking? I don't think it's going to do much damage, but what do I know? I've only been doing this for 3 weeks. Any wisdom out there? |
Just move on. What is done is done. You will be able to tell if you are out of ketosis because you will be seriously craving again tomorrow. Chance are you will be fine if the rest of your day was on plan.

I am more than on plan today and am not going to have my final packet today, just to try and counterbalance any damage I've done. |
no.. you SHOULD have your packet. the calories are low enough on your diet you will be fine. You need to keep the metabolism going over night and not have any blood sugar lows through the night which will be worse than a few extra carbs today.
