I'm losing less hair since starting IP. I think it's probably because the diet is helping my pcos and all the crazy hormonal imbalances that comes along with it.

S/C/G: Reboot with 140 as my goal

Height: 5'4"

Last time I was on IP I think my hair started falling out by the handfuls at the -35 lb mark. IP coach then showed no concern (actually she didn't show concern about anything....) It took getting off IP for a couple months before it started growing back. I started taking Biotin back then to at least stop the loss. This time I started on Biotin before my reboot and found a different formulation. So far so good though I am only at the -24lb mark. And my nails look great!

I had a lot of hair loss too on IP. 3/4 of my hair fell out starting in the 4th month and continued to fall out even after I finally got off of IP (9 months on IP) for another 4 months.

I was wearing wigs during that time and eventually had to cut my hair short so it would grow back out normally. It was definitely the unfortunate side of IP.

So inspiring Amber !
I have just started on IP diet this week. All this talk about hair loss is making me nervous
So far I m doing ok with the diet itself. dAY 2,3 &4 were terrible(headache & insomnia).I thought I slept well last night.
I have a question for all for you.
Should I start taking Biotin from week 1 itself ? or should I wait. I am already taking 9 tablets as part of the diet. No idea where to slip in the Biotin.
Thanks in advance

I started losing my hair after giving birth, and I tried to restore my hair with proper nutrition and special remedies that the doctor prescribed for me, but in the end, nothing happened.
