Default 8th week: Minus 35 pounds, am I dreaming?
Hello everybody,

Today marks my 8th week on this amazing program. I am so thrilled to share my numbers, at the same time, I am in a kind of denial that it cannot be true, that in a way I am dreaming.... But I am not

So, here are my numbers:

Weight: Minus 35 pounds
Chest: Minus 2 inches
Waist: Minus 3 inches
Hips: Minus ... listen to that : 4 WHOLE INCHES !

Pinch me, I think I am dreaming.

I am so happy, I couldn't stop myself from posting this thread even though I still have a long way to go, I just wanted to take a moment and smell the roses.

I hope everybody is doing as good on this program and I wish you all the best.

Congrats! I just had my 9 week weigh in and am down 28.4 so I'd have to say you are doing pretty great!

Great job! I'm at 8 weeks too and can't believe it either. Had I known it was possible to drop weight this quickly, I would have done it a long time ago!

Woo hoo!!! Congratulations. It is gratifying to know if you stick to it, the weight will come off. I find myself getting impatient and just wanting to be done, but I really can't complain.

Great job! It takes a while for your though process to catch up to what your body is doing. I still can't believe it -- but, the before and after pictures are a reality check.

Hello Pat,

Effectively, I just started noticing with my clothing size a huge difference. I mean first I started putting a pin on the side of my pants, but then even with the pin, they were getting ridiculously big, so I am lucky since I kept all my old pants from way before 6 years ago (I would say 8 to 9 years ago, not quite sure, but I guess), I am much more than positive that it's over 6 years since I came to Canada in 2005 and since then I never fitted in them, never was able to wear them, just kept them in a bag in a corner of my closet, and now I do, and they fit perfectly .

Even my tops are getting baggy, but for now, they will have to do, I cannot budget just yet for a new wardrobe since I am positive I will be losing more and more.

Anyway, other than the clothes, I still don't have any new pictures of me taken yet. What I do have though is a picture of me that my sister-in-law posted from last Christmas and I look so big in this picture cause I do believe I was at my heaviest, so I guess by this coming Christmas, I will be posting my new pictures right next to it and by then I will be much more than positive that NO I am not dreaming
